Not that bad really but the sort of loud vocal mob who like to be heard didn’t even like him in the Championship- just said he got lucky ! https://wfcforums.com/index.php?threads/xisco-out.57899/page-20#post-3055163 Edited 3 October 2021 by Super_horns

Leicesterpool Posted 3 October 2021 Posted 3 October 2021 Ranieri did an amazing job in his first season of course, we all know the story etc... but his second season and his time at Fulham didn't exactly go very well. Be strange appointment if so.

Facecloth Posted 3 October 2021 Posted 3 October 2021 (edited) Watford have now changed manager in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 (three times), 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2019 (twice), 2020 (twice) and 2021. Edited 3 October 2021 by Facecloth 3
Tielemans63 Posted 3 October 2021 Posted 3 October 2021 Watford defy all logic. No stability whatsoever and yet they're still a relatively successful club. I think most clubs would find themselves in League 1 with a manager turnover like that. 3
Vacamion Posted 3 October 2021 Posted 3 October 2021 I would describe Watford's hiring policy as "promiscuous". I would hate it if City were like that. 1

Corky Posted 3 October 2021 Posted 3 October 2021 Rodgers, Pearson, Ranieri- you'll only need Puel to complete the set
Tuna Posted 3 October 2021 Posted 3 October 2021 Watford are a joke but it always works that's why they keep doing it. 1

Sixteen managers in ten years ……..people change their underwear less !
Tuna Posted 3 October 2021 Posted 3 October 2021 Also the headline writers should lead with "First Watford manager sacked this season rather than" "first premier league manager sacked this season". 1 3
tickler28 Posted 3 October 2021 Posted 3 October 2021 Hang on Watford (just promoted) sack their manager after 7 games on 7 points......if we lose today we are below them and we are an established Premier League team and current FA Cup holders
The Bear Posted 3 October 2021 Posted 3 October 2021 And yet Bruce remains in a job after 0 wins in 7.

Brighton hadn’t sacked Graham Potter for 2 years despite flirting with relegation. Look at how they are performing now having given a manager time. Give one of our most recently successful managers time after a very good two years.
coolhandfox Posted 3 October 2021 Posted 3 October 2021 I though he was doing ok. Not sure it the best of ideas. 2

Probably helps we do quite well even with this endless stream of managers . I mean there are bigger clubs who would love to be in both of our positions! This is the 2nd most successful era in our history yet most unpredictable (or maybe not !) and dysfunctional in a way . We could do with some stability and the players taking responsibility though Edited 3 October 2021 by Super_horns 1

Number 6 Posted 3 October 2021 Posted 3 October 2021 Looking at their run of fixtures you have to wonder if the next manager will make it to Christmas.
