Raw Dykes Posted 30 August 2021 Posted 30 August 2021 I was going to say bullet dodged, but £30m!? That can't be right, can it? I wouldn't want us spending half that on him. £30m for Dan James!! I'm stunned.

But yeah it’s still horrific
gerrytaggart Posted 30 August 2021 Posted 30 August 2021 30M blimey. Its unusual to see Man United on the good end of a pants down.

Popular Post Ric Flair Posted 30 August 2021 Popular Post Posted 30 August 2021 And people wonder why we don't try and sign players from the PL more often. That is an absolutely sickening price, infuriating how much the big clubs can generate from their cast offs. 9
CrispinLA in Texas Posted 30 August 2021 Posted 30 August 2021 (edited) Gosh Leeds spotted him at Swansea and he would of gone for 1million or 2 but the deal got hijacked by ManU who paid 15m for him and now Leeds buy buy from ManU for close to 30m, bet Leeds fans are going nuts and ManU fans laughing their heads off Edited 30 August 2021 by CrispinLA in Texas 1
desertfox2 Posted 30 August 2021 Posted 30 August 2021 Wow, just like the Leeds of old before they went bust. Why would anyone pay that much for him?
CrispinLA in Texas Posted 30 August 2021 Posted 30 August 2021 (edited) If they paid about 5m they could of got Tammy Abraham before he went to Italy.... crazy Edited 30 August 2021 by CrispinLA in Texas
Iran Posted 31 August 2021 Posted 31 August 2021 (edited) Seems Leeds will get him after all Edited 31 August 2021 by Iran

It’s just a transaction at this level in footballing terms. When your income is close to £200m a year, a wage bill of £100m, you use the balance to fill gaps in your squad. If it doesn’t work this year. You go again next year. It seems a lot to the average joe, however with only 5 or 6 trophies available per season, chances are you’ll always have fans of certain clubs, deeming players a failure, as they haven’t met expectations, albeit it that a trophy, or league survival.
moore_94 Posted 31 August 2021 Posted 31 August 2021 Official to Leeds, probably spent about £10m too much on him 1
