I could absolutely see us making a proper fist of it, especially after winning the FA Cup.

Our effort against Slavia Prague was pathetic, but it was clear we weren't prioritising the EL as highly as the PL and FA cup
Maybe we should?

The astonishingly long list of key injuries probably had more impact than our attitude to it.

I hope we go all out for the europa league next season. If we can keep the squad pretty much injury free there’s no reason we can’t win it

Definitely had an impact, but being in four competitions in a very compact season, something had to give.

All due respect to Slavia, but we didn't even cause them any problems, which even a second-string XI should have the quality to do.

As long as we are allowed to go, I'm buzzing for it to be honest. Chance of getting a ticket either home or away end increases. I'll be going some where regardless. Some good teams in it.

Agreed, we were hampered, but I don't think we were disinterested.

Must admit, I’m not too disappointed at the prospect of Europa League football - it’s a competition we could conceivably win (on route to the goal of winning the Champions League in 5 years time).

Interesting final game tonight in Italy, Atalanta v Milan.
 

Milan likely to drop into Europa if they don’t win. If Atalanta lose should still come 4th as have much superior goal difference. Fancy a trip to Milan or Rome (Lazio) deep unto the tournament.

Excited to be back in Europe.

Hopefully, really hoping, all this Covid shit is gone and we can get some away day's in again.

Lets add a European Trophy to our honors board!
