It was unreal.  Never in my wildest dreams have I imagined our Polish wood drawing with Spain  Feels like a win! And agaist very dubious referee calls  (that was never a penalty imo)

Lewy, Jóźwiak, Glik, Świderski all heroes. Sousa = football genius

(I know nobody rates him on here but believe me he's head and sholuders above Poland's previous manager.

This would be simply impossible under Brzeczek).

Szczęsny had probably his best game in Poland shirt.

It sums up how much the format has been weakened that one of us could very well end up in the semis despite having the shooting accuracy of a goon in a Spaghetti Western.

 

This whole second round of fixtures has been plagued by teams playing for a point, because they know that a win in the final round almost guarantees progression. It's like getting a medal at Sports Day just for participating. Portugal - Germany today, and Italy's performance were the only games that told me anybody is taking this tournament seriously except the underdogs.

 

UEFA better sort it out next time, because the Euros is in danger of turning into a glorified extension of the qualifiers at this rate.
