Has there even been suggested there actually is a sell on clause?

Doubt Lille will have been able to convince Rudkin to include a sell on clause as high as 25% when they were happy for him to leave, Soumare wanted to leave, and he only had 1 year left on his deal

If anything it will probably be 15% of the profit we make at most, like it was with Maguire and Hull

Yeah , we can only speculate because they never make it public.

Two of Mendy, Praet or Hamza will surely go. At the very least on loan.

I'd be sorry to see any of them go.

But a midfield squad of, say, wilf, youri, soumare, KDH and say, Mendy should see all of them.get sufficient game.time and offer enough depth....plus we haul in 25m for Praet/ Hamza and lose their wages off our spiralling wage bill

...forgetting Sowah....could be a big surprise next season!!!

Prefacing this by saying, not a football scout, and rarely watch non-English football, so even I notice the fairly large grains of salt surrounding me -- I am shocked by how little respect our loanees get when they perform well at other teams. Even with Hamza and Barnes, there was a whiff of "Yeah, but can they perform in the premier league?" about them, which didn't surround people being signed by the club from lower leagues or abroad.

KDH proved he was too good for the Championship, Sowah has performed well in a league better than the Austrian league (Although RB Salzburg is a class above its league, and Daka a class above his team). If we had actually signed either of them from the clubs they were playing at last season, we'd be dancing a jig.

But there's not been any speculation from journalists either who would likely be aware of them.

Rodgers effect in full swing

When did we sign Marlon Harewood?

I really hope Rodgers can improve his game and bring out some goals and assists from him. He seems to have the perfect game to be a ruthless box to box midfielder but so far he's seemingly been coached to offload the ball 30-40 yards from goal and then retreat. I think this isn't necessarily because he's incapable, he's not Nampalys Mendy in that regard, he has an incredible ability to take the ball up pitch.

Reminds me a bit of Mwepu at Salzburg who Brighton are in talks with. Mwepu is brilliant at picking the ball up from deep and running with it, he loves getting in the box too.

.....he really does not have to follow through into the box, offloading and letting the wide players and Forwards get on with it suits me well!!!

He will plug the midfield, available for any counter attack, should our attack break down and he will have Ndidi in support to do this. We had too many occasions where players were taking one for the team, in order to stop a counter and he will eliminate needless bookings and players like Tielemans walking a tightrope on a yellow.

He looks like he could follow through with support in attack but he is a massive safety net I am delighted to see in the team.

Is this guy even real, No photos, no video's since signing . Just an easily photo shopped pic of him in a Leicester top . Jesus, he's not even tweeted a picture of himself reading Of Fossils & Foxes (1st edition) from the Haymarket Travelodge .

.....and that's just in his trousers from all these perfectly scripted compliments from new signings.

I bloody hope that's photoshopped otherwise these guys are significantly shorter than I'd imagined.

The most patently photoshopped photo EVER. :)

The question on everyone's lips. Will we ever see Soumare smile?

Soumare, looking at Seagrave: "Huh I guess this is alright".

Contrast with Daka, who looks like he's about to explode in excitement every time he thinks about LCFC.

Interesting hashtag... he gonna be number 42? (Or he typed 24 wrong, which he put on a previous tweet - Mendy has 24 currently)
