My post about the wages was quite obviously jesting lol lol

No one would believe that.

For what it's worth, I'm happy with this and glad we get to keep him.

Read the room, Trev. Read the room.

I’m sorry I just don’t believe he’s anywhere good enough for where we are now. You can’t be sentimental in football. Let’s be honest if he left right now, who would signed him ? Burnley ? Norwich ? Championships sides ? He’s a legend and I’m not taking that away from him.

We do like to reward loyalty, not that Albrighton has been knocking too many offers back. But it is part of what makes this club great, we look after those that have served us well.

As long as wages aren't ridiculous, I'm ok with it but as with most most pre seasons, we shouldn't be relying on him to be anything other than a squad filler.

Didn't want to see him playing for anyone else.

Legend.

Clearly a player who’s slowly declining, but still a decent squad player who will always give 100%.

Albrighton in a tinpot Burnley shirt wouldn’t have looked right anyway.

Yeah I mean it's only like 3 months ago he played a huge part in winning the fa cup. Useless. Get rid.

I think we as a Club have often been guilty of giving contract extensions to players that are either past it and not good enough.  In Mark’s case I ‘personally’ feel he still has value both on and off the pitch. Just my opinion.
