Only 3 or 4 teams I could see him at.

1. Manchester City - pushes out Mahrez.

2. PSG

3. Juventus

4. Real Madrid - would he do a Figo / Ronaldo?

Juve and Real Madrid don't have the money. If he goes City he will defo play up front. PSG probably don't have the money either. Only 3 teams on earth who could afford his wages, Man United, Man City and Chelsea.

The thing with Messi is I think more teams could afford him than first apparent. He's so ridiculously marketable that it does pay for itself. For example if Leicester were to go for him they would approach Adidas and FBS and negotiate a big increase in sponsorship and kit deals which may well cover the costs. Juventus did this when signing Ronaldo.

i'm convinced this is a bluff to the people who run La Liga to give preferred terms to bail Barcelona out. Messi brings too much revenue to the leaue and the other teams will be counting the money he brings to them while he scores hattricks against them.

Ye but Juve are now desperate to get rid of Ronaldo because no matter how marketable you are, making up that kind of money is ridiculous. And Ronaldo isn't on what Messi is on

You’re not paying a multi million pound transfer fee. You could give him a £50,000,000 wedge as a signing on fee and lower weekly wages.

Manchester City are basically assembling  potentially the best squad ever in world football.

It's definitely more a case of where Messi wants to go than who can afford him... we all know he's mates with albrighton

Man City will sign Grealish for £100m, Kane for £150m and Messi on £600k p/w and still pass FFP rules!

FFP put the final nail in the coffin last season …..

Surely Top would go back to the Australian bank for a loan and then Vardy will throw a hissy fit because he's on 1/5 of Leo's wages,  cause all the other players to down tools and get us relegated

Don’t see Man City being able to afford him if they want Kane as well. But if it’s instead of Kane then yes
