Probably an unpopular opinion but I hope he doesn't come to England. Incredible player and all that but the hype would be unbearable, every game just about him, Sky no doubt setting up Messicam as an option to watch. Only Man City could afford him and they've already got the best squad.

In Messi's case yes. La liga is worthless without him and most of their clubs are already financially ruined. The premier league already has the TV monopoly. Imagine Messi joined a prem team. Even less tv money for la liga as nobody other than spanish people would give 2 fcks
