You guys are having a laugh. He’s been utter doggo almost every time he’s played for us and now after 14 minutes of play he’s a decent player again

He’s a very solid choice when we sit deep.  The problem is we rarely do that and any time there’s a high line, he struggles because of his lack of mobility.  Why be angry at a guy for not being able to do what he can’t do?  May as well yell at your dog for not being able to fly.

I enjoyed his fist pump as well. Think it was after his block. He certainly helped get us over the line. Good on ya lad.

You watch a player for years, you know for sure he can't play the way you prefer to but you  buy him anyway . Then you are astounded that he fails . That is a true definition of stupidity. In a backs to the wall match when you have little of the ball , his giant frame can do a job.

Basically I think he can be useful about in the same way Big Wes in his last year was useful - maybe a bit more.  Is that worth what we paid?  Obviously not, but again, that's not really his fault.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. He's been an absolute bomb-scare all season. I've not enjoyed having him on the pitch. I thought he was very good last night when he came on but he's got a long way to go to earn any trust again for me.

always knew he'd come on last night as Fofana was unlikely to last the 90 and wasn't looking forward to it, he was superb in his cameo though

When Evans returns he will be lucky to get any game time. At least they will stop kicking him on here. If we play shit it won't be his fault. He would fit in at Burnley actually , they like to sit back so perhaps we can swap him for Tarkowski.

A decent game for a player who is struggling, and some don't like him being given some limited credit for it.

Hope this puts to bed any idea he is worse than Bertrand. He's not suited to how we play. He does have some will to do well. Bertrand is a useless lazy coot who doesn't give two hoots. They shouldnt be lumped together, it's unfair on Vestergaard

I would suggest that Rodgers will go with Fofana and Soyuncu first. I am not at all confident that will work.
