Fine margins, we were quite unfortunate not to have taken the lead in the 2nd half IMO and then it was game over for Rennes.

 

Overall we were well worth qualifying over the 2 legs, for once I felt we were the more canny and possibly even experienced in high pressure knockout football.

I can't believe I'm about to type this but I would like to see him start on Sunday see if he can build on it. He deserves another chance after that!

Credit where due tonight. I won't jump the gun yet but if he can use this to build his confidence and be better than i truly hope that happens. It will only be of benefit to him and our team.

I said it after the Randers game... he just looks a million miles fitter.  Im not sure we ever saw him out of pre-season mode.
