It's only the London Press pushing for this out of wishful thinking, Unless Arsenal are in some sort of relegation scrap I can't them sacking Arteta. I think he'll be given the full season. Come the end of the season Leicester will be in the champions league which squash these rumours.

Rodgers is ambitious and will leave one day, but he's not stupid. The problems at Arsenal run very deep. There is a cultural malaise there that will take a lot of work - and probably a change of ownership - to sort out. I just cannot see Rodgers willingly walk away from the job in which he's supported by amazing owners and is building something really special to go and work for Stan Kroenke in a toxic environment. It would be an insane move.

 

The bookies are making him favourite because he's been linked before and they've got nothing else to go on. It's not based on any actual intelligence.

I think Rodgers would be smart enough to turn down the Arsenal job right now, so I'm not worried if that job became available. I would be worried if a job became available in Manchester though.
