Maybe he thought it was done and dusted. He’s what they needed to keep the game in their hands, and even more so to produce some magic at the end. Not sure, Gundogan has a good game when he came on to be fair. Mahrez off was the poor decison for Fernandinho. The latter is on a sharp downward trajectory and didnt offer any protection that he would have 3 or 4 years ago. 1
Super_horns Posted 4 May 2022 Posted 4 May 2022 Those 3 goals last week after being 2 ahead 3 times really have come home to roost as well . 1
Sly Posted 4 May 2022 Posted 4 May 2022 Man City got a taste of what they try and do to every other Premier League club, with dirty fouling, breaking up play, winding down the clock. They’ve fallen on their own sword. They need a 9 so badly and poor management taking of KDB and Mahrez.
FoxesWalk Posted 4 May 2022 Posted 4 May 2022 (edited) Now he knows what it feels like to be a Leicester fan. Edited 4 May 2022 by FoxesWalk
tom27111 Posted 4 May 2022 Posted 4 May 2022 I'm a full on Real fan until the end of May. Anyone but Liverpool. Hala Madrid!!! 3 1

I thought his passing was still extremely good if not spectacular. Just felt Man City lost control of the tempo of the game when he went off.
Popular Post smudger63 Posted 4 May 2022 Popular Post Posted 4 May 2022 You know, they bring in var because they want to get the right decisions, even though half the decisions they still get wrong even with var, and yet the most annoying thing in football is the amount of gamesmanship, or in truth down right cheating, with teams wasting time, more especially when the players go down injured when they are clearly not injured and staying down because they know that the referee won't add on all of the time they are actually down for. Tonight's game was a classic example. The Madrid player that went down at the beginning of extra time was down for almost 3 minutes, he then went down again later, as did another Madrid player. There must have been at least 6 minutes of injury time and yet they only put 3 up, and then didn't even play the full 3 it's scandalous. If i would want anything brought into football it wouldn't be var, it would be a working clock in every stadium that the fans can see, that stops when a player is injured and only starts again when the game is restarted. I'm no man City fan but tonight's ref should never referee a big game again, he was so poor. 7
fuchsntf Posted 4 May 2022 Posted 4 May 2022 What a Great game of football... Here only Silly posts ignoring the quality of football, that this years CL has shown.. We seem to find it easy to find the cynocal nonsense, But I reckon this year the Top clubs in Europe have shown & found their quality... Man.city & Pep, have played Great Football over a few seasons, but they just cant bring or see a defining game home... Is their destiny to be similar to Leeds of old...the trophy Paupers of Europe...?? 2
Corky Posted 4 May 2022 Posted 4 May 2022 And still Man City have won nothing we haven't this century. 2 2

GKs must have 5 seconds to get rid of the ball from their hands. I don't mind if a full game will last 4h. The implementation of these rules will stop most players disrespecting the game, their opponents and the fans. 1
21st Century Fox Posted 4 May 2022 Posted 4 May 2022 I think the only thing that could have improved this year's tournament was if there had been more teams in it who qualified without merit. 2

Just think the refs don’t have the bottle to send someone off for time wasting so give them loads of chances with just a ticking off . Edited 4 May 2022 by Super_horns 4

After Mourhino, Now Pep, Two elite History Making managers...have lost that extra spice, to bring home games in the CL... Love to know & Really understand "The why"....

For keepers it's simple, you award an indirect free kick for time wasting. For the rest you just stop the clock. They can take their time and stay on the floor for 10 minutes. I don't care, I'll leave my seat and go grab a pint. 1

No words can describe how much I hate them. Just everything about them. Thought I was in South East Asia the first time I went to Anfield. Tourist FC. Which puts more shame on the so called fans that live in England that have never been to Anfield.
TheSomersetFox Posted 5 May 2022 Posted 5 May 2022 Understand the Liverpool hate but I'd like them to win it. Brilliant City and scousers (proper Liverpool fans) are great away from social media. Klopp has pissed me off no end in recent times with his moaning but I still can't help but think he's brilliant
