Insigne has just gone off injured for Napoli

If he misses Thursday that will be good for us as he is their best and most important player, would probably be replaced by Lozano who is still pretty good though

2-1 Napoli

Moise Kean tries to head it into his own net, Szczesny claws it off the line and Koulibaly taps it in from 2 yards

Be a big boost for them if they see this out

Napoli beat Juventus 2-1, top of the table with 3 wins in 3

I don't think they will rotate much against us (unless they have to with those red list players/injuries) as they have Udinese next weekend which is a much easier game for them to rotate in (unless Spalletti isn't bothered about Europa)

Going to be a very difficult game

Hopefully Daka , soumare and KDH all get a start in this

Do we think perez is straight back in?

I hope not! I want to see Daka, Soumare, Lookman and Kel.  I don't want to see Madders or Perez 😁

Freshen things up, a few clearly carrying knocks yet keep starting, this competition is the perfect chance to give some new players a chance to impress.

Schmeichel

Ric

Soy

Evans

Castagne

Ndidi

Soumare

Kdh

Iheanacho

lookman

Daka

I've got serious questions about Rodgers if he doesn't start Daka and Soumare for this. We moaned for nearly two years about not having quality in numbers and needing to play Tillymons, Vardy and Maddison every week. This is the ideal time to keep those players fresh and give others a chance to make an impression for the Brighton game. Yes, we need to take it seriously and go for the win but there's no such thing as stiffs and reserves anymore, especially not with the price tags involved.

Would a midfield 3 of KDH, Ndidi & Soumare allow us to rest Youri? He looks a bit tired.

We would miss Youri’s vision but KDH & Soumare playing box to box might give us a different dimension.

I can certainly see him going for his strongest team for our most important European group match, especially with a League Cup match to start Daka in coming up.
