Well, the ressies are doing okay, aren’t they?! Wouldn’t be surprised to see Soyuncu added and us go to a three at the back

after the interval. WHU were extremely good, but these are probably  the best team we’ve faced this season. Including Man City. Their press is superb. We’ve got to get wider and out of the heavy traffic in the middle.

We started with Ian and Daka up front, with Barnes and Perez behind out wide. And we looked good.

Then shifted to Ian up front with Perez and Daka as RW and we looked rough.

Perez and Ian were putting a shift in at the back. Daka can't do that.

As much as I like Evans and Vestegaard, they have the turning speed of ocean liners.

Napoli's pace is going to catch us out

Sheez talk about living dangerously! Need to tighten things up big time. No more labouring on the ball and than panic passes. Get it together ffs. We can actually win this game if everyone stays focused and maintains the intensity. We’ve literally pulled our pants down and egged Napoli on. Take a leaf out of west hams book and finish them off then we can take a breather. Saying all that nice one Perez for scoring that

Only one team in it, but that's not the one winning! We look a bit unfit, and too many players either off the pace or not quite at their level, but finishing is all. Like to see some changes though.

I'm not sure why it is that we struggle to beat the press so much. We have talented technical players in most positions, but it was a feature of last season as well. Not sure if it is players positioning or what, but we've got to find a way of established a reliable out ball of some kind as we invite pressure on ourselves far too frequently.

This game needs Tielemans on to try and set the tempo and calm us down a bit.  Ruiz is running the show for them. Wouldn't mind Ricardo for Castagne either.

What concerns me at the start of this season is the volume of very presentable chances we are conceding.

Napoli are an excellent side. Like someone said, there are worse sides in the Champions League.

Half Time:

- Wow what an open game so far. Napoli are a good side.

- Soumare so far has been a bit disappointing. A bit slow and looked backwards too often. He missed passing forward to Nachos and Barnes on two glaring occasions when they had plenty of space to run on to for a counter.

- Unfortunately with Napoli piling on the pressure, KDH to come in for Soumare to help control the midfield.

- Daka’s running is impressive. He is so fast.

- Castagne is having a great game.

- Barnes is a threat too but not getting enough passes to him.

- Perez has done well but he is dropping off. Ricardo to come in later in the game for him please.

Why he turned inside for that last chance I don't know. Shown some glimmers though, happy with him

As a striker, he needs a goal to get ‘settled’, I guess . But I’m  not yet seeing the hyperbole that accompanied his signing.
