We will not win every game, that we know..

I just want to see some passion back into our performances.

We have become Puel like again and very easy to play against.. We are losing games in the first half where we can not pass a ball forward and cause our own problems..

when I look at the players that we could have bought in the summer, Zouma, Ings to name two..

Tarkowski was a far better shout than Vestergaard.

I look at some of the Gems that Brighton have in Trossard and bissouma and feel we have missed out over the last year or two..

....at the time our acquisition in the summer window looked very good indeed!!!

1. Soumare - has not hit the ground running and i can understand the scepticism of will he eventually become the player we were looking for.

2. Daka - has had no real time to shine, amazingly he does look a bit raw and although he is young, I am surprised in how much coaching he will need.

3. Danny Ings - is a good forward and the way we play with 1 upfront, he would not be getting much time and he probably knew that.

4. Zouma - is someone we could rue not picking up, but with Soyuncu and Fofana, we needed an old head. Vestergaard as 4th choice seemed a good move at the time.

5.  Troussard - A Left Winger, Harvey has that shirt and he is not going anywhere.

6. Bissouma - Central midfielder, a position which is pretty crowded. KDH struggling to get decent game time, perhaps (he, Bissouma who has been here since 2018) could in the end, have adapted better than Soumare will do.

I'm not worried....there's been periods in the last 6 games where we have dominated the ball ..I just wish Brendan would take the brakes off a little...let the centre backs drive into space..play a one two with a midfielder perhaps

We wanted other players to get a game last night and that happened but rather than be told to go express themselves from the get go... the message seems to be about control and system..

Also in the NFL it's well known that playing your best football early on in season is no near as successful as peaking down the home straight...

The road will continue to be bumpy in coming weeks but I bet We are a different beast by mid November

Come on foxes

Opposition teams are more than happy for us to dominate the ball when all we do is pass it between CBs before we eventually give it away..

and we normally peak early doors before we fall away alarmingly at the end..

let’s hope we have a peak, otherwise it’s a long old season.

Just not sure what Soumare does atm..

he is not an out an out ball winner… he doesn’t really get into the oppo box. And he doesn’t score goals.

massive game for him today in what we imagine will be the holding role

I guess one positive is that none of the bigger clubs will want to poach our non injured players anymore given the current form of potential leavers.

Way this season is going with so many players out of form and key players injured i would settle for staying up and a decent couple of cup runs and then there’s likely to be a real rebuild over the summer with coach and players moving on.

At some point :D

Relax, let's not get too worked up and we have to experience the low points to embrace and enjoy the higher ones. The good times will be back :brendan:

Newlywed sex keeps the positivity high,  no doubt! lol

We need a light bulb moment and things will get better at some point.

Gunna make me a good cup of cha now. Think that will be the turning point and you can all thank me later. No reach arounds though. Lol

We'll be fine.

Even our current trajectory sees us on course for 40 points. And that's not even allowing for an upturn in form.at some point.

We've drawn to relegation rivals Palace and Burnley when we are at our absolute lowest ebb. Chance blown for them pair!

We have JJ and Evans due back in Janaury at worst. March may well see lil wes for the run in.

We have one of the best rbs in Europe sitting on the bench.

We have goals in us. That's harder to do than working out a defensive formation.

Lots of straw clutching here. I understand that but need some realism

Defensively, neither JJ or Wes will be up to speed this season whenever they return. We've seen that before. Evans is the wrong side of 30 and now injury prone. We should have forked out for someone better than Vestergaard - buy cheap, buy twice - whilst Bertrand, even though free, offers nothing.

In midfield, we lack a real powerhouse and influence. Youri never was the former as such and he seems way off the pace sadly. Has his head turned? Quite possibly. Wilf for all his defensive qualities is not a playmaker. Soumare needs time to adjust but I think will come good with time.

Upfront, luckily Vardy recovered today. Barnes touch is shot. Nacho is a diamond and needs game time now. Lookman looks good but is he a goal scorer?

We need some luck, some confidence and some ballsy decisions and management from BR to get a reasonable finish. Top 6? Very unlikely. A relegation scare is more likely though we have the talent to avoid that.

You can’t have Vardy and Nacho starting together. We got completely bossed by a very average Palace team. He’s tried it and it don’t work, I don’t care if they both scored that was the worst 90mins I’ve seen from a Leicester team since Claudio Ranieri was in charge.

For me Nacho needs to be the main man from now on because he offers a lot more than Vardy in terms of building attacks and hold up play. It will never happen I know it won’t but we can’t afford to have this defence exposed our midfield especially as Tielemans can’t wait to give the ball away at every chance and Hamza is only good when he isn’t in possession of the ball. Those two really were a terrible midfield pairing. God BR got it so wrong today and today is the first time I think we could be in trouble.

I will still give BR my full support and I hope he can work out what is going so wrong quickly.

Hopefully Evans will be back for the next match, Justin later this month, if not next month as well as Ndidi.

And Fofana appears to be recovering quicker from injury than expected so a few reasons to be positive there!

The thing that keeps me positive is that out of form players like Barnes, Maddison and Tielmans have not suddenly become bad players. Their confidence, form and/or fitness will return, and when it does, we improve. Vards and Kelechi are excellent and have plenty of goals in them. Lookman is settling in nicely. Ricky P and Chestnuts are great full backs. JJ we hope will start to feature by the end of the month. Caglar has been excellent, but his form is woeful. We hope if Jonny returns this will help Cags find his form. Kasper is fine. We've had a seriously poor start, by the standards we are capable of. It comes off the back off a pretty poor end to last season too. I'm thinking Southampton away and Newcastle at home more than the Chelsea and Spurs games. I do think we will improve, but there is no doubt we need to improve our urgency and our basics.

I reckon we'll just click one game and give them an absolute hiding. 5-0 or 6-0. Hopefully sooner rather than later lol

I’ll never forget seeing someone post something like that before…next game we lost 6-1 (I think) to Portsmouth.

(Not saying that’s gonna happen, although who knows the way we’re playing to be quite honest)

I suppose it depends on your definition of fine lol

I don't think we will be in danger but if form carries on as it is then who knows. I don't think we will be challenging for top 6 either. Mid-table season and hopefully a good run in a cup.

Everything will be fine …. These are the next 5 games! I genuinely struggle to see many more points in the Prem or cup progressing wins with these next round of fixtures …

BR has mentioned about limited time on the training pitch which isn’t helping with the structure of the team, well, when most of your squad is on international duty and then you come back to the Thurs / Sun type routine it’s difficult to see where the improvement is going to happen!

Wrong thread, you're not short of non-positive topics to post in!

Let's try to keep this one positive ;)

Admire your optimism. The fear is none of these especially JJ and Fofana are likely to be their former selves this season.

Fuch sake, I can't see 3 points from any of those Premier League games:unsure:

On current form we will soon be in around the bottom 3 and will the panicking, weak minded players and manager be up for that?

2 wins and we could be top 6 again.
