I'm not worried....there's been periods in the last 6 games where we have dominated the ball ..I just wish Brendan would take the brakes off a little...let the centre backs drive into space..play a one two with a midfielder perhaps 

 

We wanted other players to get a game last night and that happened but rather than be told to go express themselves from the get go... the message seems to be about control and system..

 

Also in the NFL it's well known that playing your best football early on in season is no near as successful as peaking down the home straight...

 

The road will continue to be bumpy in coming weeks but I bet We are a different beast by mid November

Well there you go you've just confirmed my point....it doesn't work anymore....we've been sussed out...therefore why are we carrying on doing the same thing hoping for a different outcome? The tactics need tweaking....the same reason we had to change in 2016/17 after the title winning campaign is exactly the same reason why we need to change now.

I’m not sure this is the worst we’ve been under Rodgers, January to (as it turned out) July 2020 was awful, we got knocked out of the League Cup by a really poor Aston Villa side over two legs, lost to a Norwich side who have lost every one of the 16 Premier League games they’ve played since, lost 4-1 to a side that got relegated and threw away a 15 point lead in the Champions League race.

 

I think this is the worst we’ve been since then but that six months was the worst we’ve played since we got promoted imo.

 

As I said at the start of last season when we got beaten at home by Villa and West Ham, we just have to accept that this is how it will be with Rodgers. We will have spells of being exceptionally good and exceptionally bad. Right now, as we were in the first half of 2020, we are one of the worst sides in the league. Equally we have the potential both with the team and the manager to be one of the best.

We’ve just had what other clubs get occasionally - injuries to key players, indifferent form of key players and it all looks a bit disjointed. It’s a marathon and not a sprint and there’s little to suggest we’re stuck in a Puel style malaise. I am baffled however by some selection issues, but hey ho.

We will not win every game, that we know..

I just want to see some passion back into our performances.

We have become Puel like again and very easy to play against.. We are losing games in the first half where we can not pass a ball forward and cause our own problems..


when I look at the players that we could have bought in the summer, Zouma, Ings to name two..

Tarkowski was a far better shout than Vestergaard.

I look at some of the Gems that Brighton have in Trossard and bissouma and feel we have missed out over the last year or two..

Naa it's all going to shit. Was sat next to Luke Thomas at the blackjack table at Leicester Grosvenor last night and he was chucking 100's round like it was nothing. Obviously newsworthy stuff.

Not trying to be heavy ( he s my brother..)

This is a truely  crap sentence...

every Team "susses" every Team out, its whether you are strong enough on the day, to hold & present your game-day tactics...

We have all sussed, Norwich,Man.City & utd,Liverpool, Chelsea...etc.etc...

Just a Cop out sentence...

So We pay Good Wages for nothing...

Easy to Grind out frustration, sitting in the fans-chair....
