In all seriousness, the Forest Liverpool 'rivalry' was essentially situational over 40 years ago for a few seasons but social media seems to be making it out as if its Leeds v Man Utd.

 

I'd compare Forest Liverpool to our rivalry of sorts with Arsenal and Spurs for a couple of seasons when we won the league were they stopped caring a year or two before we did. Their 2022 rivalry with Liverpool is on par with ours to Arsenal/Spurs in 2057 if we languished for 15 years in the premier league following by spending 20 years in the championship or league 1.

It’s mostly Forest fans hyping it up as some deep hatred, where as it looks like to most older Liverpool fans it’s just a bit of a source of nostalgia, to younger ones it’s just another club. 
 

Wouldn’t be surprised to see Forest stoop quite low in an effort to make something happen, interesting to see if their “Classy club” reputation survives.

Do FA Cup matches still split gate receipts? If they do I was wonder if Boro keep it all or donate Chelsea's half to charity. Presumably none can go to Chelsea.
