Second half was a bit of a write off due to the weather. Anything could have happened.

As for the first half, it was much more like it in terms of style of play. Much more decisive going forward, passing from deep which would have been more effective with a CM who could pass a football. Ndidi and Soumare aren't effective playing this way and although it's clear what Wilf offers, Bouba clearly hasn't settled here yet. Needs some time out of the team.

Let's not kid ourselves, we weren't great and Watford helped us but I would much rather watch us play like that than the turgid football we've played this year.

L'il Wes and JJ can't get back fast enough though. Still look poor at the back at times.

I seem to remember the orange ball is introduced for games within a set period on the calendar but surely it would have been sensible to have them as back up on a day like today? Anyone know the rules or the logic?

It's yellow ball for the winter period; that's to due with floodlights etc. The orange ball is always there for such situations but they use it once snow is on the ground

I'll give credit to Brendan on this one, I like that he didn't use Daka or Kelechi even towards the end.

Keep the players who are fully match warm and up to speed out there and save them both for midweek and give Vards a rest during the week

Imagine not wanting to start Vardy in a snowy game against Watford. The man relished every second out there.

Next stop for the great man is Dancing on Ice

Crazy game.

Maddison and Vardy were brilliant making our offensive play very exciting. Defensively we still look a mess. Watford got way too many chances and then brainfarts from Ndidi and Castagne gifting them goals, but they could easily have scored even more. At least we are fun to watch.

I thought I was watching 100m relay practice instead of a football match. Where is the ball!?

Bloody hell

Good goals. I thought we played well when going forward. Defensively, first half we were poor for large parts.

Second half, as silly as this sounds, credit to Brendan for not being afraid for large parts to allow the players to play a bit more direct. Ease the pressure. I thought we dealt well considering the conditions.

Confidence building victory hopefully. Still areas to improve

Today or especially that 2nd half was not a game of football.

litterally could not take anything away from that but brilliant to walk away with the 3 points.

I really couldn't see what we they was running around after.

It just looked like  the players from both sides were having air shots all the time lol 😆

Good to be 18 points let's win the next 5 in a row now which isn't even a big ask.

Convincing? No but the way its gone this season we need to enjoy the good results. At least Vardy and Maddison are looking sharp.

Lookman as well, does a lot of good things but you don't see him enough.

Second half was always going to be difficult. The delay after their 2nd might have helped and crucial we got the 4th soon after.

With Southampton, Villa and Newcastle next we could get our season back on track and be right back in the race.

Where are we at as a team in this moment. I dunno, does anyone?

When the ref assistant showed 7 mins injury time at the end i still wanted to hide behind the sofa as I was so nervous we’d concede again with so little confidence in our defending. It is not just the defence we look so easy to play through. Hey ho, we won in a bizarrely entertaining game, lets push on boys.
