We need to have a good run at some point. The average for 6th since we have been back in the PL is around 64 pts.

To get 64 pts, we would need around 1.83 pts per game from here compared to our current form of 1.38 pts, which would only get us approximately 52 points.

It is not a massive ask just yet.

Now is the time, with the run of League fixtures before Boxing Day, this is our "easier" run.  If we don't get into that 5th-7th area by Christmas with a 2 or 3pts gap then mid table mediocrity beckons for next Spring.

Was she making her mind up or did she think she was in the Land of Make Believe or has she come to the game in case we are 9-0 Record Breakers??

You could say that about most games in the PL. Other than our games against Chelsea and West Ham, most of our games could have gone one way or another.

That’s a fair point! I’d argue the games we’ve won (Wolves, Norwich, Watford, Leicester) the other side will feel more aggrieved by the result than some of the games we’ve lost.

Chelsea & West Ham battered us as you said. Brighton we could have complaints about the refereeing but we were abysmal first half. City & Arsenal were both very comfortable for the winning team too.

If the news of Brendan keeping the same XI tonight is true then I’ll be pleased, we’re crying out for some consistency so let’s hope it’s the start of a run.

We're going to have to go all out and try and outscore these because I can't see us keeping a clean sheet.

And here's some reality...an exciting season still exists.

If the first half tone from against Watford is repeated at Southampton, could we we just be finding form at the right time?

We'll need Tielemans back asap, add in Justin, potentially, to play a part, Maddison looking like the player we've been missing, Vardy on fire and with Daka rotating and possibly, maybe, why the heck not, dream about having Fofana back in the mix...this is why I find Leicester City impossible not to enjoy.

The Napoli game is perfectly well set up, the Liverpool QF is a bingo game and then some points to be taken from enough of those premier league games....isn't there an optimistic bus where all these thoughts exist?

Odds for Southampton game look a bit low for me.

Is that jamster Shane Long still around, pencil in a goal off his backside at some point in proceedings.Every time I see him against anyone else he just jogs around pointing and blasts sitters over the bar.

Every time I’ve worn the new home kit for a game we have lost. It’s on. Gonna be nil points for us tonight, sorry lads.

Take it off then...

Or.... just play Perez?

I might take pelters for THIS as well but Perez is a better 10 than Praet.

Scored more career goals and registered more career assists in Europe's top five leagues than Praet.

Is it just me who never saw praet as a 10.

Think he could do a tielemans role personally / standard 8 but was better on right wing area than Perez imo.

Was not a fan of Perez though i will admit. Scarily warming to him after how shit we've been this season after dropping him more.

Would bite your hand off for 0-1.

Realistically diven our indifferent form this season I'd be more than pleased with a 0-1 victory.

There is about as much chance of us keeping a clean sheet as a toilet roll in a dysentery hospital
