Surely not 3 games in a row

Armstrong is the sort of forward we really struggle against and actually, Adams too.

To be honest I hope these do start. They have another striker, Broja, who really would strike fear into our fragile defenders cos he's big, strong, quick - and can score goals. He would bully the life out of our central defence.

I'm not quite convinced we've turned a corner yet, I really hope we have though.

I'm far from convinced myself. We shall see tonight.

...a player makes one crucial error, and now he has become a liability!!!

Can we just move away from this type of rhetoric, we all know what an asset he is to our team.

It's light hearted humour, that's all - in a similar vein to remarks about his dubious shooting ability. I don't think even the FT lunatic fringe/hate brigade would even question the value that he brings to our team and what an asset he has proved to be.

Come to expect we will concede first and that means chasing the game. No confidence that we can keep the proverbial clean sheet.

The whole back line and keeper need to sort their shit out.

Been appalling all season and I can't see this game being any different.

Also, we leave a massive hole in centre midfielder most of the time.

Only way we win this is if we bang 3+  goals in as we will be letting in a few that's for sure.

Does anyone think Daka will start tonight, for a rested Vardy. Or Nacho maybe?

Think Daka and Nacho will both start tonight.

Vards rested for the Villa game.

I want a clean sheet. I want to see a solidity to this team and its not just the defence as Ndidi and Sounare just isn't yet working. I'd rather KDH get a chance but I think Rodgers is trying to play Soumare in to adapting and we've just got to out up with it, but please keep Ndidi sitting deep and let Soumare take up an advanced position as he's a statue when teams turn the ball over.

In a strange way, I'd take a 0-0.

Think Vardy can afford to be rested for this one. Would give Daka/Kell gametime with Vards back for Villa. Might well be needed for the Napoli game as well

....Vardy to start tonight, Rodgers will not be looking to change too much at the moment!!!

We need to have someone on the back post for free kicks and corners, belts and braces.

Yeah I was nearly tempted to say that but we need to put some wins together, so I'm being very greedy and wanting both.

I agree the table is wide open, considering we all think we have started poorly, string 3 or 4 results together and we are back in battle for top 6th-4th.

Yeah, it's all well and good us saying we're only x amount of points off top 6 etc but cutting that gap and then keeping up with it requires more than a couple of good results. We haven't won more than 2 league games on the spin since February I don't think? But really we need to start averaging 2 points a game for a good chunk of games to really put ourselves back in the mix.
