He doesn't have the legs to play out wide. Cant get past a player. The complete opposite of what we need away at a team time Southampton. Need some pace out there.
Foxes96 Posted 29 November 2021 Posted 29 November 2021 3 x changes for me: Schmeichel Castagne - Amartey - Söyüncü - Thomas Maddison - Ndidi - KDH Lookman - Daka - Barnes Will be interesting how Rodgers rotates over the next few games, got to keep some consistency but will also need some rotation. Simplest solution for Vardy/ Daka for me would be to keep Daka on the midweek fixtures and Vards at the weekends. Again would play KDH over Soumaré who’s played a fair amount of minutes recently and struggled to really impress. Final change is Amartey in for Evans, as we can’t risk losing him and will likely need Jonny for Villa and Napoli, and Amartey has been solid whenever called upon. 4
Guest Danny Clender Posted 29 November 2021 Posted 29 November 2021 And here's some reality...an exciting season still exists. If the first half tone from against Watford is repeated at Southampton, could we we just be finding form at the right time? We'll need Tielemans back asap, add in Justin, potentially, to play a part, Maddison looking like the player we've been missing, Vardy on fire and with Daka rotating and possibly, maybe, why the heck not, dream about having Fofana back in the mix...this is why I find Leicester City impossible not to enjoy. The Napoli game is perfectly well set up, the Liverpool QF is a bingo game and then some points to be taken from enough of those premier league games....isn't there an optimistic bus where all these thoughts exist?

Armstrog is a good player though, we've seen time and time again that players with mis-spelt names from lower leagues can do it in the Prem. Vady, Wirght, and that Tnoey from Brentford looks handy too. 1 3

I might take pelters for THIS as well but Perez is a better 10 than Praet. Scored more career goals and registered more career assists in Europe's top five leagues than Praet. 10
LVFox Posted 29 November 2021 Posted 29 November 2021 A win here and we have some momentum and are starting to look good, amazing that after a poor start we are still only 5 points from 4th! Kasper Castagne Amartey Soyuncu Thomas Ndidi KDH Lookman Maddison Barnes Daka Vardy & Evans to play at Villa and Napoli. We need more energy in the middle of the park to protect our back 4 more. KDH deserves a chance. 3
Jazzy_Jeff Posted 29 November 2021 Posted 29 November 2021 Schmeichel Castagne Evans (Amartey) Soyuncu Thomas Ndidi KDH Lookman Maddison Albrighton Daka 1
KFS Posted 29 November 2021 Posted 29 November 2021 With others playing eachother around us we’re either jumping up a few places or we get within 2 points of two of the top 6 with a win here. Would be huge and a massive turnaround. Be nice to see some consistency in results and every win from now until Napoli will boost their confidence. That game is massive isn’t it! 1
kingkisnorbo Posted 29 November 2021 Posted 29 November 2021 Fine margins ain’t it. Wins against Southampton and Villa would see us more or less back in the mix. 2
lgfualol Posted 29 November 2021 Posted 29 November 2021 Schmickle Castagne Amartey Soyuncu Thomas Ndidi KDH Lookman Maddison Barnes Daka
Popular Post ARM1968 Posted 29 November 2021 Popular Post Posted 29 November 2021 I see this as an easy win……… for Southampton. We will be dogshit. No intensity. No pashun. No creativity. No pace. No defence. No midfield. A performance lacking all character. THAT is the best I can do to help things. Hope it works. 🤞 7
Paninistickers Posted 29 November 2021 Posted 29 November 2021 Please just play a midfield for this. Wilf on his own with the woeful Soumare is suicide. We gotta away with it yesterday only as Watford were so useless at the back and largely seemed uninterested (yet they still walked through midfield at will and got 2 goals) Keeper and back 4 Wilf, KDH, Hamza Madders, Barnes Kels 1

I'm afraid I'd have Iheanacho for Lookman every day of the week as he offers so much more. Apart from a few moments of bursting into life and a couple of good passes in the second half again Watford, Lookman was lightweight and hugely insignificant. He can skip past 2 players and lose it to a third or, produce a number of clever little flick ons which look good, but don't actually find one of his own players. Iheanacho is far stronger, can hold the ball up well and is a proven goalscorer. Some may point to the lack of wing play but I honestly don't believe that you have to be symmetrical and have two. Castagne can occasionally provide a bit on the right when able because as have a non productive Lookman or even Perez out there, you may as well field Iheanacho or even Daka who both offer a genuine threat to the opposition or at least keep them busy. Praet always been more of an 8 that can play as a 10 and a cdm if needed (last option not so much in the epl bc he's weak but yeah he could in Italian football) but Perez in truth was at his best at Newcastle while playing as a cf, behind rondón i believe. Like okazaki behind vardy. But yeah he's a better 10 than Praet. Agreed on that
East Langton Fox Posted 29 November 2021 Posted 29 November 2021 Last time I went to St Mary’s we won 9 0 and the time before that we won 4 1 so I’ve got a good feeling about this trip. 1

Jimmy Posted 29 November 2021 Posted 29 November 2021 I'd like to see a couple of changes given the personnel we have missing, I'd continue with Vardy not starting midweek games, especially with playing on that pitch second half and I'd bring in KDH for Soumare, maybe Perez if one of the wingers needs to not start Kasper Castagne Evans Soyuncu Thomas Dewsbury-Hall Ndidi Lookman Maddison Barnes Daka 1
