BR has turned us into a one dimensional team. Easy to work out and comfortable to set a defence for. 

It's screamingly obvious some of the lads aren't at their best with his system. 

But money says he wont change it.

Absolutely true. However, the corner came from no one closing JWP down until he got into the box. The resulting corner two players passed the ball to each other and were slow getting out. When we did get out it was one man. The ball in the box was met by a Southampton player who had far too much time in the box to get the shot away. 
 

You can live with one issue but that’s four in two patches of play. The subsequent shot, save and tap in resulted from errors we shouldn’t be allowing.

In any given game you gave to earn the right, for us it’s happening to often that we just are not competing with the opposition, if things don’t improve quickly then it’s time for Rodgers to move on.

Lookman isn’t anywhere near as bad as Vestergaard and Bertrand

Thomas has to focus on defending because he knows Barnes doesn’t track back effectively or help. Defensively Barnes goes through the motions, pretends to track back but doesn’t really involve himself, even his body position seems to help the opponent.

It’s a shame we haven’t got Mendy, as I think we’d benefit from him at least being able to tackle in midfield at the moment. 
 

An issue we have at the moment is that 2 / 3 of our midfield don’t like being put under pressure and couldn’t pass on COVID, never mind a football.

The issue is less the middle of the pitch than out wide.

Flicked the Merseyside Derby on for a few minutes. Comparing how Liverpool hunt after the ball as one cohesive unit to win it back and get on the front foot to watch our rabble is so depressing.

Saints 2nd, and 4 or 5 of our lot look at each other, like no one knew what they were meant to do. I can’t get my head around it. It’s like they’ve not played together before.

I didnt say its the reason we're losing, but even considering the shocking defending I think their individual performances so far are worse than any of the back 4.

Soumare Vestergaard Bertrand all below standard. 

And Daka is clearly not rated as he cant get a kick in the league. 

We needed a winger for this formation to work but we didn't bother again. 

We needed to freshen the first 11 and we haven't done that either.
