The self awareness is top notch

Couldn’t sum it up better than Jurgen himself. So fair play to him lol at least he can take it. Just hope he doesn’t blame it on the wind or something stupid instead this time.

What's he on about? Someone translate this from football cliches into English

Sounds a bit like Pep - 'if we had played like we we're able to play'... Well yeah, your opponents aren't going to always bend over for you ffs. Your opponent nullified you and scored more than you could. It angers me so much when managers just expect clubs to just roll over. They get so pissy when things don't go their way. Yeah I know Klopp said we deserved to win but he negates it with shite like that.

This just shows that for all the background noise about set pieces, formations and personnel that the real ingredient missing from our team this season has been application.

That basic requirement to run and fight for 90 minutes has just not really happened this season. It might be naive but fans expect it every game - and the question should be - why don’t we get it every game?

I’ve been to most games and disagree with you basically saying the lads don’t try. They have made plenty of mistakes in previous games, but have never thought they weren’t trying.

Tonight we played a different system today to suit the players available, giving Liverpool the wings and basically two thirds of the pitch. Two banks of four closer together made for a really tight defensive unit where there was always someone to get a block in or stop a cross. Going back to 1970’s style defending at a corner also worked well.

Last 20 minutes Liverpool were devoid of new ideas and couldn’t find a way through our packed, very efficient and well drilled unit. BR should get immense credit for tonight,

To a man City were superb tonight, couldn’t be happier for the manager, team and fans. So proud of everyone tonight, thought the crowd played their part as well.

I thought the defence were great today. Ndidi superb centre half.

Unreal mate. Proper backs to the wall stuff after a proper seeing to on Boxing Day. That’s Leicester and I ****ing love it.

How can you not ****ing love this football club man. They do so much wrong but really drag it out the bag when it matters. Wouldn’t be anyone else.

GET IN!

Obviously we'd keep our third clean sheet against the team that scored 50 goals in 18 games. Never in doubt

So Leicester. Like when we went to Anfield next to bottom and ended their unbeaten record of 80+ games back in the early 80s.
