I had a crack at a Sicilian last weekend which is quite similar to Detroit style but slightly lighter with less cheese and blind baked first to keep it less dense.

Was pretty good but I know I can improve.

I'm no @Ric Flair, but you'd probably pay 12-15 quid for that in a bar or restaurant.

Cost about 2 quid to make.

I'm telling you, I need to pitch this to football clubs and take over their catering.

Great work pal for an oven baked pizza that's spot on. You're a natural.

Thanks man.

The sauce is so good! Got a kick to it, but not overpowering.

I'd try a different recipe everyday if the Mrs let me!

But apparently the kids need "vegetables".

IT'S GOT PEPPERS ON IT!!!

Where do people keep their pizza ovens? I'm always tempted by them but then assume I'd probably under (or over!) use it and it'd end up rusting away somewhere, unused

Hahahaa that's what the Pizza Pilgrims boys did. Well it was more like a moped with a carriage on the back with a pizza oven built in.

I've crunched the numbers on setting up a pizza business full time and it's not as cushty a gig as you'd think it is. Even cooking pizzas in 90 seconds like the Ooni ovens do, there's so much time and preperation that goes in to it and making pizzas in volume means you have so much stuff to take with you and it has to be stored carefully and kept at certain temperatures etc.

There's sadly easier ways of making a decent living but that said if it's your passion then it can be a very rewarding pursuit.

The Ooni ones you can order the waterproof and weather proof cover for so you can keep it outside if you want, but I have mine in my garage.

Anyone enjoy Turkish bread? I cannot get enough of the stuff, I always eat too much of it before the meats and rice come out and put myself in a world of bother.

Anyway, started making my own and it might be my proudest moment.

Paid Pizza Punks a visit and thought it was really good. Had their Cubano as I'm far too indecisive to choose a custom pizza. Mojo Sauce (no idea), Grueye, Mustard, prusciutto, sirischa pork belly, gherkins, dill and balsamic vinegar. Bloody marvellous it was.

Apologies for sideways pic but not idea how to rotate, also, baby wipes are optional with the pizza.
