No sense in selling Justin when we've got Choudhury and Thomas still here both are much worse

Thomas looked much better towards the end of last season, starting to live up to his potential

Thomas has probably improved to a better level at Left back.

Choudhury plays the inverted rb role better than JJ

But we have t had any interest in Choudhury or Thomas.

That's on us for continuously extending contracts for fodder, they've both gone on multiple loans though so would have some interest

I want to see more Faes rumours...he needs to go along with the Podcast wannabe.

That will help massively with PSR and we have no need to replace them. I want to keep okoli as I think he'll be a more of an asset in this league.

With a 30-40% pay cut from relegation he's probably still on £60-70k a week which we cannot sustain and he'll leave on a free next summer.

I'd take anything over £3-4m for him.

Which would see us book at profit in this years accounts as he will have around 700k amortisation left  on the books.

If it true we value him at 13m with a year left, 100% we don't sell and he walks away for free in the summer.

Interesting to see what we do with Ricardo, Justin, Daka, Soumare, Coady, Winks, Ayew all out of contract in the summer. We should be looking to sale as many as we can this season.

Massive opportunity to sort ourselves out.

Justin is fine but isn’t the same player as a few years ago.  We have a collection of okay but not spectacular full backs (Ricky P aside).  So not bothered who goes to  slim down the squad.

Do you honestly think he was on £85-£115k a week?! Seems a huge stretch in terms of what we was paying to me?

Rumours we're one of a few clubs interested in Bamford. Leeds want £3m apparently.

He was good a few years ago but injuries have taken a toll and at 31, he ain't improving so it would be a no from me.

My word. I'd rather Daka genuinely. Or Wilson with one foot or Antonio with no working legs.

0 goals, and 0 assists in 17 Championship games last season 😳

I'll be fair to Bamford with the 17 games and no goals stuff, that's in 2.6 90s, like a striker not scoring for 3 games which happens all the time.

He wasn't considered good, or perhaps fit enough to play more minutes for Leeds, but, they had better options which we just don't. We need two more options after losing Vardy and Cannon and someone to keep Daka out the team, and out the squad. Bamford is fine for rotation if his contract is affordable, two years max and more appearance based. If he can stay fit.... big ask, yeah, he could be a cheap option capable of playing the role Martì would find desirable. I'm not against it under the right circumstances.

Another highly regarded Matias we could be after who is likely not to have any interest in joining us.

Having said that we need to wait for Jon to slowly move any players on before we can buy.

Haven’t seen anything of him I must confess, and I worry it’s a thought of “Bergvall is really good so this guy must be too”.

However, would be super excited if this is the pond we are looking to fish in

It is extremely rare that we don’t use stats in our recruitment process.  Aging striker with prem experience who had a relatively good output…. Huge risk of us signing them. But after 0 goals in 17. It’s not going to happen

Bet Rudkin is salivating at getting a 31 year old injury prone forward in, as they used to say in the Fast Show, suits you sir.

Plays like a midfield dictating 6, very strong in possession and ranks well for progressive passing.

Maybe we can sign his son once we are ready to actually bid for players
