Guest Mickyblueeyes Posted 30 August 2025 Posted 30 August 2025 We took the “free Mahrez” Algerian fan boys. We are now dealing with the “free Bilal” morroco fan boys. That’s not enough, get the fella who has played for both. Bring it on!

Chief Keef Posted 30 August 2025 Posted 30 August 2025 If it’s a loan with a relatively low option then it’s a sensible signing. Looks technically sufficient and his record in the MLS is decent. Similar or better to someone like Agyemang who Derby dropped a decent fee on. Seems he’s an effective presser as well so fits what Cifuentes needs in his style.

We seem to be actually recruiting for our manager!! Almost as if the manager and recruitment team are finally working together!! Daka is hard working and unpredictable not even he knows where his passes or shots are going 1

IMO we should either sign a Kone type profile who is young and raw with a potential high ceiling or an established striker who would be very good at Championship level. Some of these names we're linked with sound no better than Ayew or Daka and I'd prefer to leave well alone than sign a 26yo who is a one in six man in a league like the Dutch league. Not sure why we didn't sign Kone as a player who is incredibly raw and come from nowhere but young and League One POTY sounds right up our alley especially with our very talented options behind the front man if BEK stays. 2

We're not outraged about it because we have become desensitised to them and as far as transfer mistakes go, only wasting £1.5m almost seems like a win. 1 1
