You can already see the influence Maresca js having on our squad rebuild, links to lots of exciting young talent that are on the periphery at big clubs, couple that with the addition of solid experienced players in the likes of Coady and Winks and we should be in for a really positive season, would be great if we can secure the loan players on option or obligation to buys, this would give us continuity and also mean that we we are developing players with a view to our own long term benefit.

I wouldn't get overly excited about Borges until anyone credible links the two. He's obviously one of Man City's more exciting youngsters (that aren't being fast-tracked by Pep) so it's natural people are going to put two and two together to spam social media with their fake rumours. It's just guess work.

 

Be nice if there's something in it and it isn't wildly unbelievable but there's also no reason to start frothing atm.

Goalkeeper aside, I am happy with the spine of our team following the Coady and Winks deals. Time to add that sprinkle of magic, creativity of young players.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s £8m upfront  but significant add ons and a decent sell on %.  
 

he is in the final year of his contract, but could be leaked to push other interest parties and create a bidding war to push the price up
