Difficult one, they aren’t in any form but the risk of players picking up more injuries increases playing every few days. Need a couple in on loan to boost squad numbers for rest of season. Gray 25 yard screamer was nailed on for Tuesday 🤣

We've proved we can play twice in 48 hours for further down the line but we had about 7 more players available.

This gives us a week to hopefully get some more back.

Should never have been rearranged so soon. I don't think we should be allowed too but a precedent has been set. Has their always been a postponement rule during an injury crisis? But we never noticed.

Can only help us though, if nothing else it avoids any further injuries.

Because I don’t want the very few first teamers we’ve got getting injured by the Premier League idiotically rearranging the game off the back of a congested month.

Yep was a stupid decision to schedule the game so early in January with AFCON and clear issues already.

This is good news. A date will easily be found if we go out of Europe. And if we go all the way to the Conference League final, then who’s complaining?

Premier League embarrassing themselves with the scheduling yet again.

Yep. With the AFCON we're effectively down to a 22-man squad for a month.

couldn't expect 8 senior players + kids to play 3 games in a week off the back of players just returning from injuries/covid and hardly trained. would've just picked up more injuries as a result

Can’t see Burnley going ahead either.

We can't keep cancelling. It's our decision unless Burnley get plagued. I think it is in our best interest to play it. We should have 12/13 senior players by then and everyone's had a week to recover.

Personally would of preferred us to play it and I get why the Everton fans are pissed off but the league has set a precedent with how easily games are being called off.

Hopefully if this carries on next season the PL takes a tougher stance on it

Why are they even arsed the set of freaks?! Surely they should be glad it’s off so they don’t have to endure the utter shambles that the lads representing them are serving up at the minute - not to mention led by a gaffer that still goes to bed in Liverpool FC pyjamas with a picture of Bill Shankley on his bedside table.

Such a ****ing odd set man.

We’re clearly tactically delaying this game until Demarai Gray gets injured, so we don’t have to witness him smashing home a thunderbastard against us.
