Grebfromgrebland Posted 30 January 2022 Posted 30 January 2022 Yeah we definitely need another centre back. Soyunchu, Vestergaard and Amartey just aren't good enough really and Evans can't be relied on anymore. 1

dannythefox Posted 30 January 2022 Posted 30 January 2022 Didn’t think we’d get anyone even though we need a CB there’s not many about. I think there happy just to finish as high up as possible this season knowing next season we’ll have everyone back plus some new faces.
Foxes1 Posted 30 January 2022 Posted 30 January 2022 Heard we are interested in a centre back by the name of Fukin Nowan.
ronnup Posted 30 January 2022 Posted 30 January 2022 Not even a tiny sniff from one itk. Wither there's nowt happening or club security is tighter.
EnderbyFox Posted 30 January 2022 Posted 30 January 2022 Phil Jones to Bordeaux has collapsed, chuck a cheeky loan in last minute? He's not amazing but he's better than that Danish lump 1

Wither there's nowt happening or club security is tighter. @themightyfin has posted suggesting a loaned CB as an in option…. Which could be a hint someone may come in tomorrow on loan. I’m just trying to figure out if the hamburger reference is one of these DeVinci code like subliminal messages as to whom it is…..

Collymore Posted 30 January 2022 Posted 30 January 2022 If we have maybe £20m then sack Vestergaard and Bertrand out by contract termination. Also sack those responsible for the signings. Any money left over invest in a process where this can never happen again. 1

Ambition at the club has fallen off a cliff They're pretty much admitting they are writing off the rest of the season. Yet they aren't discounting the ticket prices. 1

HybridFox Posted 31 January 2022 Posted 31 January 2022 Actually think we'll make a deadline day injury announcement 3

Claudio Fannieri Posted 31 January 2022 Posted 31 January 2022 CB in on loan and outgoings will be a couple of loans from U23’s, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Lewis Brunt join a league 1 or 2 club for the e remainder of the season

StanSP Posted 31 January 2022 Posted 31 January 2022 Is this the quietest transfer window we've ever had? Barely any links or rumours.

Wizerud Posted 31 January 2022 Posted 31 January 2022 With players coming back you would think the worst is behind us so if we don't get anyone today it won't be that disappointing. But....sometimes these things happen quickly so you never know. I could still see us bringing in a good-value signing on loan to give us solid cover at CB...I just hope it's not out of desperation.
lgfualol Posted 31 January 2022 Posted 31 January 2022 Jeez, risky seemingly not bringing in any CB cover, especially if Fofana has any setbacks or takes more time than hoped to get up to speed. As soon as transfer day is over, one of our available CBs will get injured, just like on fifa.

We continually think we're fine due to players being about to return and them being 'like new signings' - only they never return ti the level and will get niggling injuries along the way, on top of many long term injuries.
