Liam McNulty - A Foxestalk Legend, RIP.

Seriously sad. Never met him in real life but to interact with on here and twitter was so much fun.

 

Every transfer window you'd have him tracking planes and helicopters. Two days in FoxesTalk folklore I'll never forget - "Big Daddy" signing of Youri and the FoxesTalk GOAT day in 2015... Where we spent the whole day thinking we were signing Aranguiz because we were following Vichai's jet over the Atlantic hoping it was going to Brazil to pick the player up... Only for it to land in Texas for it's annual check up.

 

An absolutely legendary afternoon.

One of the prestiged names of the forum, didn't always used to be about tracking planes & helicopters but he really seemed to find a niche in doing so. He was the poster tracking planes in summer 2015, so on here we all knew an hour or so before it was to be Ranieri.

I know Liam had been unwell but it seemed to have happened very suddenly judging by his twitter 🙁 Doesn't say anyone know what Liam suffered with?

Really sad news, RIP Liam. I'd love to be able to read through the Aranguiz thread again and the Big Daddy one, they were great times. I think they're too old now though.

I am gutted

 

Known Liam 'online' for many, many years. Probably for as long as he's been on Twitter

 

I know he entered palliative care just over a week ago, but seems to have reached the end much sooner than expected

 

On the 28th of January he said:

"it's good to mention what palliative care is many get scared you may die straight away hopefully with alot of good management and help I'll at least watch Leicester win the European conference"

 

So, so, so sad even just from a selfish point of view that I'll never get to talk LCFC with him again, or any other of our shared interests from Fools & Horses to taking the piss out of stuff

 

Important to remember he never moaned about the hand he was dealt, he just got on with it in a positive fashion, much like when City lost

 

I'm absolutely gutted. RIP Liam. The world has a lost a good 'un

 

Let's hope we can win the Europa Conference as he wished
