Gutted to wake up to this news today. Met him in Glenfield hospital where we were on the same ward. Lovely guy, and had many interactions with him on Twitter. He will be sorely missed. RIP mate

Thats really sad news. Never met the guy, but his passion for Leicester was obvious to see from here and on twitter. Used to love his plane tracking update. One of the FT legends and the kind of person who makes this site unique.

RIP Liam. Didn't know him and don't recall ever meeting him but used to enjoy his plane tracking antics - they'll be missed. So young to pass, my thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time.

I seen Liam's final twitter post minutes after he posted yesterday and had to check to see if he was just messing. Only later did I learn that he had sadly passed.

 

I'm going to miss his regular tweets popping up in my timeline, whether it was him preparing for another trip despite his ailments, or the latest stadia model he was working on.

 

Liam was the true pioneer of 'track and trace' transfers. Other fans claim now to be the holders in plane spotting, but Liam was the first in my book, and well prior to that, as has been said previously, he used to head down to the ground or training ground to give us live updates on what he could report back to FT.

 

His dedication to his club can't be understated given his condition.

 

My thoughts are with his family, friends, and loved ones!

That’s what I was thinking. I spoke to him on here from time to time, and as @Bert says LCFC was a huge factor in his life, and it would be nice as a fan group to just give him the recognition.
