Up against Liverpool with Thomas at Wingback, you are setting him up for failure, Ricardo not great at Wingback, Amartey the senior in the backline with a DCM central and a returnee who is struggling to make his headed clearances. Hamza patrolling infront of the defence as KDH will have to press forward to support Maddison. The problem with the back 3 is that we push the Wingbacks forward and our opponents play in the spaces that they vacate. Rodgers still does the same ploy, we can't play it properly and we haven't the personnel to play it. With this team, we are asking for trouble.

It’s not my choice - it’s a prediction based on six changes ….. he may have decided to make his point by dropping players and having some of them return fresh on Sunday….. perhaps he’s written off tomorrow

LFox99 Posted 9 February 2022 Posted 9 February 2022 Really depends whether Iheanacho/ Thomas are included in those 6 hooked players. I doubt Barnes/ Lookman are part of that.

indierich06 Posted 9 February 2022 Posted 9 February 2022 We will get battered here, Salah or no Salah. They will take us apart.
EnderbyFox Posted 9 February 2022 Posted 9 February 2022 Please god don't let it be Vestergaard, the thought of him lumbering after Mo Salah is giving me a nervous twitch 1

Ian Nacho Posted 9 February 2022 Posted 9 February 2022 We’re getting Vestegaard. To be honest with how bad we’ve been looking defensively it really can’t can’t much worse. Can it? 1

Stadt Posted 9 February 2022 Posted 9 February 2022 Expecting us to concede 3+ again. We’ve been getting worse going forwards again too so I doubt we’ll score either

Flat back 5 and playing on the counter, Soumare and KDH will do the work infront of the defence and support when possible the attack, one at a time. Lookman has a habit of taking up good positions, he just has no real end product, Daka needs to take every chance that he gets and not to rush his efforts. When you get starved of the ball so much there is a tendency to think another one won't be coming in a long time.
Sunbury Fox Posted 10 February 2022 Posted 10 February 2022 If he's making 6 changes, I reckon it will be this: Kasper Ricardo Amartey Ndidi JJ Hamza Soumaré KDH Maddison Daka Iheanacho

HibiscusMark Posted 10 February 2022 Posted 10 February 2022 Right, that’s enough negative shit. Liverpool at Anfield….let’s get up for this one eh? BR and the players will be well pumped. C’mon Leicester!!!!! 1
Claudio Fannieri Posted 10 February 2022 Posted 10 February 2022 Team selection is going to be very interesting, any player missing from tonight, with possibly the exception of Ward, will be viewed as one of the players called out on Sunday by Rodgers. However in addition there is the party which I think most believe has been swept under the carpet by the club, how will the dynamic of the squad be impacted when it would appear 5 or 6 are going to carry the can for Sunday and yet very likely some of the lads at the party will be in the starting XI. Massive call from Brendan but I just cannot see how this is going to end well. Puel tried this with Vardy and it didn’t end well and if Brendan does the same with players like Barnes, Tielemans etc I can’t see it ending well for him either.
Spudulike Posted 10 February 2022 Posted 10 February 2022 Perez seems to be the invisible man recently and I suspect that Rodgers might get him in into the starting line up somehow.
