Unabomber Posted 13 March 2022 Posted 13 March 2022 Ndidi and Tielemans both dropped and Iheanacho up top on his own, can someone help me out here. 4

Thursdays more important and he's needed a rest, he looked to be struggling vs Leeds. Sensible to do the same with Youri too and to be extra careful with Justin. Well done Brendan 24

Dahnsouff Posted 13 March 2022 Posted 13 March 2022 Would suggest we are playing a more compressed formation?
davieG Posted 13 March 2022 Posted 13 March 2022 Subs: Jakupović, Vestergaard, Justin, Choudhury, Ndidi, Tielemans, Pérez, Lookman, Daka.

turlo Posted 13 March 2022 Posted 13 March 2022 Ndidi and Youri were due a rest with another big game midweek. Sensible not to start Justin after he played the other day as well - he'll be on for Ricardo after 70 mins no doubt

We are rotating on account of the number of fixtures we have. You've got a attacking three of Barnes, Kelchi and Madders. Nididi and Tielemans are clearly being rotated rather than dropped. 6
Finnegan Posted 13 March 2022 Posted 13 March 2022 1 minute ago, Unabomber said: Ndidi and Tielemans both dropped and Iheanacho up top on his own, can someone help me out here. Prioritiy is Europe. Rodgers has a track record of hugely under performing in European competition so he's going to take absolutely no chances despite the win at home. Tielemans and Ndidi will be back in the starting lineup for the away leg no questions.

I don't think Ndidi has been at his best for a while now, so i am less surprised at that than i am Tielemans. The thing with Youri, he is absent a lot of the time, but he's always capable of that one pass or strike that, for a game like Arsenal where chances will be limited, he is worth the risk. I'd like to say in Brendan we Trust, but that saying died months ago. 1
Shane Posted 13 March 2022 Posted 13 March 2022 What is the point of Perez and Vestergaard in the squad every game. Gerrem out and put a couple youth players in there. 1
Devonfox1884 Posted 13 March 2022 Posted 13 March 2022 Pleased with that. Would’ve started Daka myself but in Brendan we trust.
