Lille fans, for example, seemed completely indifferent to Soumare leaving, which concerned me at the time. By contrast, Rennes fans seem completely gutted about the possibility of Bourigeaud leaving - they absolutely love him. He also seems to play on the right. Which has a vacancy. Also worth noting that he is around the fringe of international selection. His main downside would be his age, but if the price is right, I think that would probably work quite well for us. It's another player in their late 20s who will be on inflated wages, impossible to shift and no resale value. We're playing a dangerous game by continually dipping into this market. If Top wants us to be self sustainable, we can't keep signing players that we can't move on for a decent fee. We'll be screwed in a couple of seasons.
