wolves playing gigi d’agostino after a goal

My guiltiest of guilty pleasures these days. I kind of kill my own argument about ours.

Theirs is just a better song.

I'll be honest, I thought I'd just get abuse if I put anything Welsh on the list lol

On the Ball City at Norwich is the oldest in the world and therefore deserves credit. Goodnight Irene at Bristol Rovers is another enjoyable one.

I go to quite a few Bristol Rovers matches when we aren't playing that day. The pre-match Goodnight Irene is pretty great.

I am jealous of how the Welsh all seem genetically blessed, capable of powerful yet precise rousing close harmony singing whereas in England we sound like a load of goats who have had half our teeth removed with plyers.

I mean is it nature, is it nurture, my mam had me singing in a choir from about 6 lol

I like the Liquidator, and always associated it with West Brom. Was a shock to find out other clubs, including Chelski, had it as part of their repertoire.

Talking of Chelsea, is there a worse, more boring tune, than "One man went to mow"? (or whatever lyrics they put to it)

It was - and there was a period in the nineties that Wolves appropriated it, presumably just to piss them off. Both clubs were asked to stop playing it by West Midlands Police due to supposed links with hooliganism. I loved the way that they reinstated it at the Hawthorns solely for the visit of Chelsea in 2017.

Let's see - is 'Annie's Song' on the list? No? Good, it's shite.

Always made me laugh a fan base with such a hard reputation as Pompey and their team comes out to the vey lame and insipid 'Portsmouth' by Mike Oldfield.

This thread only makes it even more painful how the current absence of our own song feels.

OK, WYS has seldom been done properly by us en masse and ought to be so much better but although under harrowing circumstance, the sound  and sight of us singing at Cardiff away in memory of Vichai was spell binding. We need to make it a big priority of ours to have this at the forefront of our atmosphere both home and away without fail.

Surprised Greasy Chip Butty isn't on the list. One of the only ones another club does that I like.

But Forest fair play to them sing theirs incredibly well.

I find it a cringy singing about a football ground - not even that it’s those twonks just always seems strange to me - blowing bubbles is another god damn awful song and Delilah has no reliance either. Marching all together is sung awfully by that racist rabble as well

I'll be honest, remember that cup game back years ago when we gave them the whole family stand and they fvcking smashed us?

They turned up en masse and I still have vivid memories of the whole end absolutely belting it out. Still some of the loudest noise made at the KP to date.

I was the one that nearly started a riot that night. Straight behind the goal with a few pints and half a box of pro plus in me cos I was a bit knackered and I kept shouting out Scot Scot for the whole of the second half to the point my mate even told me to shut the f up, end of the game he turns round and flicks the vees and people started running down booting the hoardings followed by Carson is a willy puller. Drink is my downfall.
