I think the cult is as much a reaction to how much he is berated as anything else.

 

He is at fault for this goal and it's not the first time we've seen him a yard or two away from where he should be in the leadup to a goal, but he has had his share of performances for us. 

 

I'm still not really sure CB  is his best position either.
