I just really struggle to see where we are heading as a club because i just cannot understand the vision of BR. Potentially we can be a very good defensive team next season with our first choice defence fit - certainly better than this season. But attacking wise and scoring goals, I just don't see it at all.

We don't look like winning comfortably in any game that we play. Everything win is a struggle because teams will not allow us to pass the ball into the net. Until BR eases this obsession with 70% possession and allows the players some freedom to run, next season will just be a mirror image of this one.

Anyone got a decent “body of water that flows on the earths surface” that doesn’t stop and stutter every 30 seconds

Could ask Sammy Braybrooke? He must have one saying as he’s not in the squad?

Soumare looking decent and Perez and Daka have done well in patches too but what a typical soft goal to give away. Amartey has been hideous since Fofana and Evans returned to fitness and he's been demoted to the back up rotated side. Awful.

Well it doesn't look he thrashing Merson predicted

Dont say that, these lot once scored two in about 12 seconds against us. It could be 6-0 in a blink of an eye.

How much has that Vestergaard transfer cost us this season? Not only was he shit when he played but it’s meant Amartey has played infinitely more games than he should have. Just needed someone half competent

Apart from the goal we have been the better side. Not bad given we have rested so many players. Just that final pass or a bit of luck needed in the penalty area. Perez had a good game so far to be fair and Daka full of running. All to play for second half.

Once again - predictably predictable. Better team in possession. Create next to nothing. Concede at a corner (to Kane). Get repeatedly caught in possession. Have a decent penalty shout ignored. Lack killer instinct. Etc etc…

Overall, considering the team we have out, we’ve been the better team. Lloris made a couple of good saves and a couple of poor hits in good positions. We also had a stone wall penalty turned down.

Impressed with Soumare, and Perez is looking hungry to be involved more both playing well.

Anyone know the goals conceded from corners stats with and without Amartey. He just appears to switch off so often in these situations.

For our "B" team against Spurs "A", this has not been awful.  We're giving it a go.

If we could cut out the mistakes and keep playing like this, we could definitely come out with a win.

I don't have confidence in us to do that though, it feels like we are a bit scarred defensively from all the shakey shit we saw earlier in the season.

I presume you’re on a different planet. Practically a B team playing spurs.   Why are you expecting this team to boss them?

Good account of themselves so far. I though Soumare has been great at times and a little sloppy too. Playing like a decent talent who doesn’t have enough game time under his belt. Could have scored and should have had a penalty. Spurs have been soft and their fans are flat. We can nick a result here.

Would love vardy to come on and bag a few but I really don’t think it’s worth the risk

He's virtually certain to get 10 or 15 minutes at least.
