Everton, god knows I might be being naive here but don’t most prem teams pay f all for their stadiums? Other than the obvious new builds like Spurs and Arsenal.

That's true enough but you'd have thought the other clubs - some of them not insignificant - would be really beating on the door right now. Real and Athletico must look on at this and be fuming mad.

They're not completely wrong on ours but some of the takes on that are otherwise awful. Brighton’s is excellent and should be much higher, Southampton's is nowhere near the worst, Everton's is a far worse Hunmel effort, United's is objectively the worst in the league and a massive miss and Forest's is a plain red t-shirt.

Lambert09 Posted 31 July 2022 Posted 31 July 2022 (edited) I was expecting Liverpool to go backwards to be quite honest. But luckily for them, they essentially bought mane’s replacement before he left and Nunez is definitely going to be an upgrade in the st role as they’ve not had an actual goal scorer in that position for a while. They could be frightening if the front 3 click quickly… doesn’t look like they will be dropping down a gear like i’d hoped. There’s always been a question of how an out and out striker will work for Man City, they might take a few weeks to figure it out. Can’t see haaland dropping into a false 9. He looked incredibly isolated today. His class will come through for him of course but could it effect the fluidity of that team. I don’t think it will be a problem against 75% of the league but the 25% that require them to hit top levels might be able to frustrate him Edited 31 July 2022 by Lambert09

He’s becoming a bland water carrier, give and go, Mahrez at least still looks expressive and tricky and makes things happen so I doubt it’s Peps influence that has nulified him, you’d be expecting the same from Grealish. If anyone does come knocking for Madison then the recording of Grealish yesterday should be exhibit A in setting a fee. 1

If he's a 100m player, Madisson is a 150m and Mahrez a 200m.

Riyad went through a season of not expressing himself there aswell once grealish learns when to express himself and when to do the right thing for the team he will get back to himself

I'm not sure Grealish is. There are a few players of the same ilk - he's only slightly better. There aren't many players even in the same vein as Mahrez.

Technically almost every player at man city is better than grealish… he’s just an extraordinarily good ball carrier. Hard to keep cutting in and taking shots if you see in training everyday how much better the others are at it Thats not a swipe at him, just the fact that man city are at such a high level. Always hard to go alone when there are better players around you. Edited 31 July 2022 by Lambert09
