smudger63 Posted 22 October 2022 Posted 22 October 2022 Liverpool were shockingly bad. Carvalho, Curtis Jones and Harvey Elliott looked average at best. Joe Gomez wouldn't look out of place in our defence, slowed the play down, and only played sideways and backwards. Milner offered nothing at right back, poor defensively and awful crosses into the box. Salah spending most of the game centrally didn't work at all, and taking Firmino off for a midfielder when they were chasing a goal made no sense. Has Klopp lost the plot! Notts Forest won't have an easier 3 points all season. They didn't have to do anything to win that game apart from run hard and compete.
