Surely you either put them both on next to each other with the same value or you just put the relevant Wimbledon badge on from the era. Neither AFC Wimbledon or MK Dons have played top flight football have they unless I'm forgetting something obvious? They both share the legacy of Wimbledon, rightly or wrongly, so how can they have different numbers of wins?
CosbehFox Posted 9 February 2023 Posted 9 February 2023 (edited) Wimbledon never played in MK and the PL at the same time either. Edited 9 February 2023 by CosbehFox
Fox92 Posted 9 February 2023 Posted 9 February 2023 Have niether AFC Wimbledon or MK Dons got the Wimbledon history? Who is the 1988 FA Cup final win assigned too, Wimbledon as in the club that died? If so then why are they on that wins table Niether AFC Wimbledon or MK Dons have played top flight football.

They both share the legacy of Wimbledon, rightly or wrongly, so how can they have different numbers of wins? Yeah you're right. Neither of the new teams have ever played in the top flight. MKDons don't claim any history of Wimbledon so they don't have a premier league record. AFC claim to be the more of a natural successor to Wimbledon but also don't claim the history. So original Wimbledon is basically a defunct club. The only way they should be showing it is with the old badge.

fox_up_north Posted 9 February 2023 Posted 9 February 2023 Although I do hate the blurring of history since the EPL formation, I do also recognise it's a vastly different game to what it used to be. Though I put that more down to Wenger than anything else.
Corky Posted 9 February 2023 Posted 9 February 2023 Nathan Jones is what this league needed. No filter, no PR training, no self awareness and a chip on several shoulders. A combination of early Brendan and Joe Kinnear.

RonnieTodger Posted 9 February 2023 Posted 9 February 2023 Received several laugh reacts for suggesting that we could do worse than signing Ben Mee for free.

bovril Posted 9 February 2023 Posted 9 February 2023 9 hours ago, davieG said: Most wins by club in Premier League history This is interesting because it shows both my recency bias and also how little of the PL I payed attention we were out of the top flight. Like Watford being that low kind of surprises me, ditto Boro being so high. It makes perfect sense of course but some of these clubs (e.g. Burnley, Watford) I see much more as PL teams than others.

Corona & our chronic injuries like it or not ,were massive game changes, and discrediting or denying this with macho, brust filled pumps won't change the frustration.

Popular Post Saxondale Posted 10 February 2023 Popular Post Posted 10 February 2023 From Popbitch: Todd Boehly's takeover and half-billion transfer policy at Chelsea has been subject to much analysis and discussion as to whether it's genius or insanity. A group of football agents who met him at Stamford Bridge think they may have sussed out which. He was explaining to them that he'd be able to pay for everything thanks to the fact that Chelsea automatically qualify for the UEFA Champions League every year, with all the tens of millions that brought. Someone pointed out to him that this wasn't the case; that Chelsea didn't automatically qualify – and given their current placement it wasn't at all certain. "Nonsense!" cried Todd. They were always in it! He then wandered off, clearly checked it with his advisers and then came back to admit that, yes, actually, they'd been right. Oops. 5
