Tuna Posted 2 April 2023 Posted 2 April 2023 What a disastrous appointment Potter was and so predictable as well, probably go for nagelsmann.
Suzie the Fox Posted 2 April 2023 Posted 2 April 2023 I'm torn about Potter, i mean its not like Brighton went to shit when he left so he was obviously working with a great bunch of players.
FrankieADZ Posted 2 April 2023 Posted 2 April 2023 think Rodgers will go to Spurs, they havent got to pay for him and his ego will think thats the type of club he should go too 1

I'd also be extremely wary that both Chelsea and Brighton have struggled for goals under him. There's a trend there that shouldn't be ignored. The amount of chances Chelsea create they would score plenty if they actually had a striker. Havertz is just not a striker. I would take Potter. I am just happy that Rodgers is gone.
Super_horns Posted 2 April 2023 Posted 2 April 2023 (edited) Nnagelsmann to Chelsea just to annoy Spurs ? Edited 2 April 2023 by Super_horns
st albans fox Posted 2 April 2023 Posted 2 April 2023 If we appoint potter tomorrow he can face villa twice at home in four days …..

The trend with the sides he's managed is create alot and score a little. There's nothing to say it would be different here and everything to say it would continue.

They can even have BR as a pundit. I don't care. The irony that people constantly moan about Talksport's elitist, clickbait output which had no nuance, but then moan that we won't be the centre of attention for that same, useless commentary when push comes to shove. 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
Your Honour Posted 2 April 2023 Posted 2 April 2023 (edited) Potter now wouldn’t work in my opinion, his sides do not score enough goals. From the start of next season if we stay up, sure. Let him build a team similar to how he worked at Brighton. Edited 2 April 2023 by Your Honour 1
Corky Posted 2 April 2023 Posted 2 April 2023 Just need Steve Cooper to be sacked now for Phil McNulty to take over 90% of the BBC Sport content for today.
CrispinLA in Texas Posted 2 April 2023 Posted 2 April 2023 Read Potter will get around about 50m.....not bad for 6 months work

ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 2 April 2023 Posted 2 April 2023 Watching SSN you literally wouldn't know we've also sacked a manager today!

Stuntman_Mike Posted 2 April 2023 Posted 2 April 2023 Watch the same media slating us for not giving Rodgers the time he deserved back the decision for Potter to go.

But De Zerbi prob doesn't play the same style as Potter. Not only that but psychologically the Brighton team prob wanted to perform better as a middle finger up to Potter. Things like that make a huge difference. They play well then carry that form forward. If Potters tactics ensures the team creates lots of decent chances then what's the problem? Creating chances is the hard part. Neither team has a renowned striker.
Beachyboy Posted 2 April 2023 Posted 2 April 2023 So Bayern sack Naggelsmann appoint Tuchel who wins his first game 4-2 against his old club Dortmund. Then Tuchels old club Chelsea want to hire Naggelsmann, a guy that wasn't deemed good enough at Bayern, an was replaced by their previous manager Tuchel. I think Chelsea have made some strange decisions in the last 6 months
