Personally I don't much care but upon slight reflection, who gives a crap how Rangers do.

If I may quote another Scot on this...

Got a Leicester youth player in your team so I’ll be backing you all the way!
Good luck in the final! The journey you have been on is not dissimilar to our own in recent history. Financial problems, going right down to the clubs lowest point and now bouncing back and thriving again!

Just popped in for a moment, excuse me,

Rangers have made it to the Europa League Final, will the Foxes be onside with us? I know the feeling of losing a S-F is hard to take, I was hoping Leicester could have made it too but there's always next year.

Will you be wanting Rangers to beat German team Eintracht Frankfurt in the Final?

No

Have to leave the forum for now, hope to see some positive reaction like poster Aus Fox but will fully understand the negative responses.

@bearman..

Forget the typical Football forum

oafs who love to cynically dislike all & sundry..

Living in Germany, I have friends on both sides of the English devide..

My 2nd team for years has been BvB-fan , & have a soft spot for Eintracht, I worked there for years & have friends who support them...

But before those dark days,I liked Rangers..Now they have sort of refound themselves I hope they can win..

Though both/all Scottish clubs should cut out the sect-crap..

We English don't hate individual beliefs, or organisations..We tend to hate everybody first..then wait & see what's under the skin, then put them on the waiting list if ok..

Funny thing is I have worked with Scots all over the world, & such things have never arose...

Except the English/Irish/Welsh/Scots banter & who can leave the pub-jokes off the Menu, when in far-flung lands..

Frustrates the shit out of the Amis..lol

Anyway at least one Rangers fan in Germany on the night...

A club that had a policy not to sign players of a certain religion in their not too 'historic' past? No thanks.

I'm sure your fans will enjoy singing Billy Boys etc in a predominantly Catholic city.

Lived in Scotland for a bit and know Scots. A girl (about 20 at the time) was spat at for  having the audacity to wear a green top in a certain part of Glasgow.

All I need to say on the matter.

Not bothered either was as long as it's a good game to watch.

Congratulations getting to the final though, great achievement.

Is this someone's alt posting on the wind up? lol Bit weird, coming on a random English team's forum to ask if they'll be cheering for you.

I've no particular love of Rangers for all the reasons already mentioned but I have known a few "normal" Gers fans from Glasgow over the years and I do feel sorry for them, I can't imagine how uncomfortable it would be if a large and extremely vocal section of Leicester's fan base were famous for being complete scum of the Earth on an unprecedented level.

Rangers bring out the absolute worst in English football fans though. There's definitely a "type" amongst our fan base that do have a "soft spot" for Rangers and it's got absolutely nothing to do with football (a few of them already in this thread, I see.) They can get in the fvcking sea.

Ofcourse every club has an element of unsavoury fans but the thing about Rangers as a club is that they lean into the scumbag element of their support. Orange away kits, Union flags embroided into kits. Rangers as a club have never done enough as a club to discourage it IMO.

As for the good fans, don't feel sorry for them. At the end of the day, you CHOOSE who you are associated with. It's not easy walking away from the club you've supported since childhood but if you would rather sit shoulder to shoulder with these people week in week out than stand by your own morals then you kind of deserve to be limped in with them.

Good luck to you mate. I'm no fan of West ham either but I wish they were playing you in the final. I'll certainly be cheering you on.

Quoted and bolded for emphasis.

It's about xenophobic sectarianism, not football.
