He's currently 8 away from matching Michael "Vardy isn't a natural finisher" Owen.

 

And 20 away from reaching the Top 10. (Defoe is in 10th on 162, Fowler is 9th on 163).

 

I believe he can reach that.

 

Also, he's on 478 appearances and will match Kasper if he plays on Saturday.

 

He could reach 500 appearances this season!

Bloke has been our best ever player and they are all just rehashed songs for other players. 

 

Nothing about the insane things he's achieved.

Lukaku is only 9 behind.

Salah is only 11 behind (1/2 a season).

Mané is only 20 behind.

 

If any of those stay in the Prem for 2/3 more seasons they'll definitely overtake Vardy pretty quickly. 

i dont care about younger players overtaking vardy, i care about vardy overtaking that nobhead owen. anyone beating vardy after that just pushes owen even further down the list.
