Player exchange our only hope. That's our unique sell, but a far out chance of it actually happening. I'm assuming Praet wouldn't want to go back to Belguim. Using him for CDK and Youri for Saliba would be dreamy.

Would love him here. Would be great to partner him up with Fofana, with Evans in rotation as well.

 

Also, Soumare seems like a lost cause for us now but maybe one or two more French lads (e.g. Aouar or Aouchiche) could help him settle a bit more so if we can't sell him for the kind of fee we're looking for, he may end up turning a corner with us. Maybe his issues aren't that easily solved but stranger things have happened.

I remember when we signed Wes, it was mentioned a few times that Saliba was actually considered the better prospect.

 

Given how good Wes is, Salina can be half as good as still be world class.

 

The first name mentioned where I’ve genuinely got excited. Potential to be a great partnership. Riccy, Justin, Wes and Saliba - rock solid.

He's honestly not great in the air, he's a very modern, ball progressing and passing centre back - and that's the main reason that I'm not convinced by him. I'm not saying getting a lump is the answer either, but someone like Bremer is definitely more the mold we ought to be looking at.

Saliba on the left, Bremer on the right. I've left out the passing stats, but Saliba is like 99th percentile in all of them - he's clearly a very good player, but I don't know that that's our problem.

Yeah just seems so unlikely unfortunately. Not sure how reliable lequipe are either.

this seems v far fetched - unless we make it a condition of the YT deal and quite honestly, unless we are prepared to drop £10m on our YT valuation to tempt them, why would arsenal be interested in selling us Saliba.  I would expect them to want £30m at least.
