Fulham away in May is nice

Brentford in March too. Nice time of the year for it.

Was nice in October last season but March should be better.

Apart from February they are a pretty decent run of fixtures. Not overly concerned by the August fixtures as teams will still be finding their feet so it's unlikely they'll play out as they would if it was later in the season.

That's a tough start to the season

On the upside, if we begin well against those teams, we're set up to have a cracking campaign.

The Caribbean Carnival is on 6th August, could that mean Brentford is moved?

I can't remember the last time it fell on a home game, pre covid etc etc.

It has taken place at the same time as matches before.

Liverpool (H), Newcastle (A) and West Ham (H) is a tough end to the season. Saying that we were seconds away from taking 9 points in those fixtures in 21/22

Yes but we didnt

26 Dec 2019    Leicester City v Liverpool

30 Dec 2017    Liverpool v Leicester City

26 Dec 2015    Liverpool v Leicester City

01 Jan 2015    Liverpool v Leicester City

I like it. Tough start and a difficult period over February but apart from that, it is decent. Always happy for a home fixture on the opening day and a decent game on Boxing Day.

Also pleased that we play Forest early on, hopefully we won’t have to dwell on the 4-1 game and send them packing in October.

Honourable mention to Fulham away in May. Hopefully a sunny day and us competing for the European places.

Clearly not, point still stands that West Ham and Newcastle are beatable, we shouldn’t be scared.

And those years we haven't had Liverpool, we've had Everton lol

I don't think the odds of being drawn at home to a particular team are truly 38/1 every season due to the broadcasters, policing and other logistical constraints but 38^4 is 2,085,316 lol

@Xen is the maths right on this?
