Couldn't resist starting off this thread just after Chelsea have been humiliated by Leeds United, 3-0.

Consolation is provided by the Sports Writers:

The good news for Chelsea is that they have a week to prepare for their match against Leicester next weekend, and the Foxes are really poor at the moment.

Go foxes, everyone thinks we are shit. What is that smell anyway?

Brendan ball for 65 minutes then once 3 down, we start to play and create chances and it finishes 3-1 having barely troubled a shaky defence that crumbles when put under pressure.

Copy and paste until next June

Not even going to put myself through it. Just come and let me know once he’s been sacked.

I have supported the team through thick and thin… but when you watch the garbage we are serving and it is repeated over and over you do get bloody bored and it is depressing

Chelsea will respond after today's horror show. This'll probably be like the Arsenal game. They'll predictably go ahead by a couple of goals. We'll slowly edge our way back into the game, before they finish us off.

Sterling and Cucurella to get their first goals for the club.

Ward

Amartey - Evans - Soyuncu

Castagne                                               Justin

Ndidi

KDH - Maddison - Barnes

Vardy

I don't want it to be that, and if Rodgers did have any sense he'd switch it up so we're more proactive and on the front foot, but sadly can't see anything other than the above.

Ward

Castagne - Soyuncu - Evans - Justin

Ndidi

KDH - Maddison - Barnes

Iheanacho - Vardy

Is what it should be. Two strikers, suitable midfielders supplying them, and an adequate defence to deal with their false 9 in Havertz.

I say play Fofana, if the boy wants the move surly he puts in a performance

Start positively, look like we'll create a chance, then Tuchel will tweak their set up and we'll have no answer for it and spend 85 minutes trying to limit their chances.  We'll lose 3-0 and then find out it's because "We're just little old Leicester and we can't compete with the big 6, that's not our level" and the boos from the away section in the stadium at the end will be the fans expressing their dissatisfaction at Top and the board for not wasting money on buying in new players that can sit on the bench and watch the same players pass sideways and backwards week in, week out.

If we can actually go for them for at least two goals before we crumble it might actually work………sorry that was just a dream 😴 , I’m fully awake now .

Can't see Soyuncu playing, I reckon he puts Thomas in and plays Castagne centre back.

Was thinking this last night & how back 4 can be shuffled with what we have.

Castagne surely can’t do worse than Amartey in there plus has the height (6ft+).

Chelsea result today has got to add another £7M - £10M to asking price! 😄

With what we have available I can't fault that 2nd team and it's not difficult really is it.
