We were in a relegation scrap before yesterday and we still are.  Things are looking better right now but a couple of injuries could really cause us problems.  I hope that doesn't happen and that we climb the table but I'm not counting any chickens yet.

Southampton, Bournemouth and West Ham would be a touch in terms of losing some very boring aways. Beggers can't be choosers but Wolves could happily clear off for me too.

Won’t happen but I want the relegation fairy to wave her wand over Goodison  and get that shower playing Luton and Millwall

I am not comfortable until we have 40 points in the bag.

Would like Leeds, Everton & West Ham,

i think it will be Southampton, Bournmouth and Everton

Not out of the woods yet, not whilst we are so streaky this season when it comes down to form. Need to consistently get results now.

Take out the first 7 games were we lost 6 and draw 1, taking 1 pt.

Over the next 15 we are 6th, with 7 wins, 2 draw and 6 loses, with 23 pts @ 1.53 pts per game. Even with the post 4 game WC blip.

So our form over the last 15 has been pretty good, do similar in the next 16 we are looking at finishing with 48 pts.

Such a poor start puts you under horrible pressure, if you average 1.53 over the course of a 38 game season your looking at 58 pts.

Generally seems to be between 33-38 that teams need to be safe. But 40 is making sure!

The majority of times and by looking previous seasons in Premier League and other European Leagues, the teams relegated are the ones with the worse GD. There are some exceptions ofc but even there it's a marginal difference like -17 compared to -19 GD. Our -2 GD suggests that this team is capable to get a good streak of positive results but ofc go an a bad streak also.

It will be absolutely bizarre if we manage to get relegated even with a -10 GD.

That said and because there's almost always a balancing of results eventually I predict that Southampton, Bournemouth and Forest will go down.

4 more wins and a few draws will do it.

I still believe we will be close to the bottom 3 in half a dozen games time due to our fixtures, but there are decent enough signs that we will get the results needed after that.

Personally, I think we will finish between 40 and 45 points.  It's a very poor season by our standards, but one I'd of snatched your hands off for a few weeks ago.

Yesterday's performance was an indication that we shouldn't be in a relegation struggle, but doesn't mean we won't.

I'm very confident we've made three good signings and that Nacho, as per a few seasons ago, is the man for the job

3 wins and a 3 draws will probably be enough with our GD tbf. I’d be very surprised if 36 points and our GD puts us 18th or below.

I cannot believe a team capable of that yesterday could get relegated. Our ceiling is higher than basically everybody in the bottom half and a couple in the top half too IMO.

Shouldn't even be down there

Form in the last 15 is top six.

Just handicapped by a dreadful start in the first 7 games.

I was always confident in our squad anyway. Don't like to use the "too good to go down" but that is close to my view. No one is invincible but I was and am confident we will do enough.

11th/12th on close to 50 points and an FA Cup win.

Ok I forgot Defoe Lampard etc:huh:40 points hasn’t been enough on three occasions tbf.No matter,Leicester will get to 44 no problem.

For what’s it’s worth, I don’t think that will be the case! Although it is a weird season with no stand out side cut adrift such as Sheff Utd a couple of years back and Norwich…we’ll every time they come up. Watford as well recently.

Not sure if that leads to a lower tally for the 18th placed team or higher totals overall….or a team or two do get cut adrift over the next weeks.

We shouldn’t be caught up in it anyway now but a couple more wins ASAP would be welcome as we are so streaky as a side, just as easily as we can win a couple we could go the other way again.

In my opinion Leicester’s fate will be defined by injuries. Our best starting XI will be a match for most teams.

But have another run of injuries and we could be looking over our shoulders again. Even getting the likes of Evans and Ricardo back fit again could be crucial for cover in defence.
