He's definitely a left winger and I'm pretty confident it's deliberate.

I know I've said it a few times but the more I think about it the more I am convinced that cover for Barnes is a bigger priority for us than a new RW.

Honestly, I actually do think I agree with that. If Barnes is injured we have to change the whole shape, where as we've got multiple options on the right that Rodgers will happily play and keep the 433.

In which case, it makes it even more ludicrous that we didn’t bring Lookman in for £14m/£15m.

I get it, but the simple solution to all of this is you sign an actual right winger who CAN play on the left, not the other way around. Then if Barnes is injured they move to the left and Maddison or Ayo play on the right.

I don't disagree fundamentally I'm just saying I don't think the club are wildly incompetent for signing a left winger. Everyone's acting like Rudkin needs to tattoo L and R on his hands but I'm pretty sure it's actually a deliberate strategy.

For the 994748363374803748th time, we didn't have the money before Lookman went to Atalanta.

We've literally only had the cash for a couple of days.

We had no money, so it's not that ludicrous.

If we'd managed to sell Praet, Vestergaard, Tielemans, Soyuncu amongst others, our window would have been different.

If the club received £50m for Fofana it would be stupid for us not to go out and buy Sarr. We just don’t take risks enough. And eventually it will catch up with us…

We have for the last two summers - no departures from the club and grew the wage bill

I'll be viewing it as back up for Barnes.

But that leaves us with Ayoze Perez and Albrighton as our 'natural' RHS attacking options, which is just pants.

I can't get my head around the lack of urgency to get in a right winger!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I dont buy it- we could easily have found that money from somewhere if we had wanted to do it- £15m is absolute peanuts- we knew money would come in at some point- could of got a bloody payday loan for that amount- lets not give the club any excuses- this window has been horrendous mismanagement from top to bottom- pardon the pun

KP normally spend what, 30m a year (plus sales) with last year being an unsuccessful outlier, and as KP has seen their fortunes halve due to covid and general downturn in tourism, it is not a lot for us to fans to ‘take it on the chin’ for a year or two

Would not have been overly reckless to have paid the £14m for Lookman (given it would have been amortised over 5 years at just under £3m a year) and accepted the £7m we were offered for Praet and the likelihood that we were always going to sell someone come the end of the window.

Peanuts… alright Warren Buffett.

We are in this pickle because we’ve spent beyond our means. And your answer is to spend even further beyond our means.

We're letting praet go if we get this sorted.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but the key to signing a left winger being getting rid of a midfielder who plays on the right is very Leicester 2022.  And that's not a good thing,

Has anyone thought that, heaven forbid a right footer may actually play on the right and be comfortable hitting the near post for Vardy’s countless runs rather than cutting in and being blocked out? Our full backs crossing is abysmal so let’s have a right winger with a right foot ffs.

Peanuts compared to the kind of money Premier league teams pay for players- spending that 14m would not have been reckless considering how we would have payed it and the knowledge that some would have gone out this window no matter what
