I like the look of this signing, as unpopular as it may be. 

 

From what I keep hearing, he's physical, strong, can win a header, reliable and a leader with a bit of fight about him. All things we need just now.

Is this a sign we are maybe going back to our roots? I know 14 mil isn’t nothing but compared to some of our recent purchases … this can put the blue and he’s relatively unknown.

Meh, once Rodgers leaves, I'm sure we will revert back to being a counterattacking side.

KP have only hired managers that want a possession style in recent times. No reason to think that'll change.

If we can convince Justin and Castagne to grow their hair our and start Soyuncu alongside this fella, it'd be immense and I wouldnt be upset about them shipping goals. Bonus if Ward grows a mullet.

The previous and the current manager, yes. But that's hardly a tendency.

If we lose Tielemans along with Fofana we will have lost the two most important pieces in ball progression in the team. 

Soumare, KDH and Ndidi do not have it in them to be that playmaker and Faes is not exactly reputed to bring the ball out either.

If Rudkin recognises this, we could be far more pragmatic with our next appointment. Wouldn't be opposed to Potter myself.
