Be interesting to see how we get on without Dewsbury-Hall if the leaked team is true. He adds energy but I’m never sure whether him not being so great on the ball hinders us sometimes

Surely anybody on the verge of the sack would go for it tomorrow with their team set up. As he appears to be past caring I think it will be more of the same. One up front and some crab possession ball.

Castagne, KDH and now Vardy dropped out.

Vardy I can understand due to age and fitness.

Castagne and KDH dropped? Rodgers has lost it totally. KDH is our engine in the middle.

Given how terrible we and how they are seemingly on crest of a wave at the moment, I cannot see us getting anything out of this.

Brighton are everything we are not at the moment. On and off the pitch.

More like everything we used to be,

Brighton will have a field day with that midfield pair. At least we've not gone to a back 3 which we usually try vs Brighton and are horrendous, fix it to a back 4 and then batter them.

It's no surprise that Rodgers has dropped Castagne, he's one of the only players who doesn't keep quiet about how shit we are.

Reckon he won't start v Brighton?

I have no problem with KDH being left out if we go for a midfield 3 of Youri and Ndidi behind Maddison. But that doesn't appear to be the plan.

It probably makes sense to rest Vardy,  not sure he can play every 3 or 4 days any more.

The dropping of Castagne for Thomas is utterly mental, however; up there with playing Amartey week in, week out.

Is that the actual team then not just an opinion?

It's obvious he is weakening our team deliberately to ensure that we get beat. He wants out, but wants his pay off by getting sacked. Disgusting behaviour really & this malaise is spreading right through the club, he is ruining very promising players in the under 23's & all the first team players are regressing under his turgid, negative football.

Sadly, we shall have no option but to sack him & give him his vast wedge or otherwise we are certain to be relegated.

The whole club is toxic due to him

Presumably.

It feels like Rodgers is literally doing what he can to get sacked.

Amartey consistently over Soyuncu.

Ndidi ahead of other natural CBs.

Thomas over Castagne.

I just think he's totally out of ideas. Despite the clear obvious answer is go back to basics, don't restrict your best players or tactics, swallow some pride and don't be so stubborn.

I hope there's some proper questions posed to him about why Castagne is dropped and some of the other decisions he's making.

If that the team.

All the moaning about signing was a waste of time, he gets one and doesn't play him.

Fofana makes he debut for Chelsea within day of arriving.

Not surprised to see KDH taken out of the firing line, think he's struggle a little the last few weeks, combined with 3 games in 8 days.

Workrate is still up there but his passing in the final 3rd has been pretty poor.

Yeah I think KDH needs a break/dropping. He’s lost his energy. Castagne I can’t work out.

Someone like KDH should be utilised for sixty minutes with the new sub rules but we are step behind on using them effectively

Most of the times I've watched Brighton I've fallen asleep. Didn't score many last season.

Don't worry they'll score a few tomorrow 🤣!...

And watching Rodgersball is guaranteed to send you to sleep!!

It’s like nobody has told Rodgers he can use 5 subs

It was taking him off when he'd been absolutely phenomenal vs Brentford that has helped cause a lot of this farce this season so far.

Normally you'd say it's too soon for Faes to start a match but a clueless Faes still gets my vote over Ndidi or Amartey at CB. Gotta massively feel for Cags, bet he can't wait for BR to piss off.

It was taking him off and replacing him with a striker rather than Praet, our nearest midfielder to what he brings.
